I received the Nintendo Wii game console yesterday. It came with one joystick and the Super Mario game. After hooking up the game to my TV and correctly inserting the game disk, a message popped up that it couldn't read the disk. The disappointment on my kids faces made me regret buying it HERE instead of GameStop. My kids desperately want to get the problem fixed so they can play the game so I was forced to find someone else to take a look at it. It turns out it's the laser/lens. I get that this game console is refurbished but shouldn't THAT be fixed already?!? I shouldn't have to pay $70 to fix this problem when I JUST BOUGHT THE GAME CONSOLE!! What's the purpose of buying refurbished items if they STILL don't work?!? I need answers!!!!! ... show more

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the picture online shows a stand for the console but there was no stand in the box when it arrived. Otherwise, the product was as advertised, and it looks brand new. Easy to set up and works great so far. This was a gift for my 9 yr old. Upon receiving and excitingly hooking it up, we discovered a faulty power cord. Had to order a new power cord and he had to wait several more days to play. Please test equipment before selling.
