Bought this Amiibo pack for my love for Splatoon. I got what I expected. New and looks good. But these two were so pricey, even for a dual pack. Most dual amiibos price around 70-80$, both online and Physically from a store like GameStop.     • Don't get cooked, stay off the hook!
Being big fans of Splatoon 2 and Off The Hook, my little sister and I were very excited for the release of these amiibo. After receiving them upon release, we weren't at all disappointed! These amiibo, as the majority of those we own, are well-painted and detailed, especially for their price. Both Marina and Pearl are captured incredibly well, looking identical to their in-game appearances. Displayed on the shelf, they look excellent, especially next to Callie and Marie. Additionally, like the rest of the Splatoon amiibo series, these offer in-game functionality. After leveling up in Splatoon 2 and tapping in the amiibo, you will receive one piece of gear in an exclusive three-piece series for each amiibo. This gear resembles Marina and Pearl’s outfits in the Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion DLC: Pearl’s crown, sweatshirt and platform heels, and Marina’s headphones, crop top and sneakers. Not only this, but tapping in the amiibo will give you the option to take pictures with your Inkling or Octoling and Marina or Pearl. It offers a variety of poses to choose from in order to customize the photo to your liking. During Splatfests, you even get the option to take photos with them onstage during their performance! This is a very cute feature which my sister and I really enjoyed. All in all, these are very cute collectors' figures. If you are a fan of Splatoon or amiibo, I couldn't recommend picking these enough! These will also serve as a great gift for any Nintendo fans you may know. ... show more

These amiibo are an awesome addition to my amiibo collection. Both figures are very well made, there are no wonky eyes, paint smears, or bent limbs (or bent swords). They are brightly colored and detailed and look great next to the rest of the series. In terms of features in Splatoon 2, it's lacking a little bit. You can tap the amiibo once per day to ultimately get a piece of gear, but otherwise they will just offer to save your outfit or take a picture with your character. I miss some of the functionality from the original Squid Sisters amiibo in Splatoon for Wii U. When you would tap those amiibo you could listen to a Splatfest concert performed by Callie or Marie. That feature could always be added through a software update, so my fingers are crossed. For NiB (new in box) collectors: my box came bent. It was packaged with my Subscribe & Save delivery and bent so it could fit in a more narrow box, so ordering other items with your amiibo doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a perfect box. ... show more

    • You're not fresh enough until you buy this product, period.
Before I bought this, this product really questioned my freshness, my B- Rank in Tower Control, my level, my awesome squid parties, but most importantly, my 'off the hook' factor. I didn't think I was hip enough to hang out with the coolest gals in Inkopolis Square. but then I splurged my birthday money to buy this... and I was wrong. Once I tapped this amiibo on my broken switch controller, I almost fainted with joy; I was actually meeting my favorite characters. Then, they gave me an honorary best friend gift... from then I was never the same. My squid parties? Still awesome. My Tower Control rank? Still B- But all that matters... is that I keep them captive in 50$ plastic figurines and I summon them whenever I like and I'll keep them on my shelf forever... I'm not crazy, I swear. ... show more

These are really great amiibos highly detailed only a few paint mishaps if you look very closely they came in on time too the only thing i am eh on is what they do. In splatoon 2 when you scan them you get to take a picture with ether pearl or marina and when you level up in online mode you will get gear form them this is where i'm eh on you only get their octo expansion gear i would of like to have there regular gear to. Even tough i have only one issue with them i am really happy to have them as a splatoon fan and an amiibo collector defiantly worth the price ( their retail price ) i recommend these two if you are a Nintendo fan splatoon fan and a amiibo collector. ... show more

Very awesome amiibos, shipped and delivered on time! However, the card backing was bent when put in the box, so there is a noticeable and permanent crease on the packaging. I will not be keeping them in the packaging but COLLECTORS BEWARE for those that would wish to do so.

    • The abilities are meh BUT NOT BAD
Ok so first I bought it from Now In Stock And Buy LLC (that's what my details say idk) it arrived 3 days early♡ the packaging was cool and handled with care. (Thanks to the wonderful usps♡) The figures need a little touch up but I under stand they were high in demand. (sorry Nintendo we like quality.) Now on to the topic at the top. To be honest the abilities are fine not really what I use but I spoofed them up with sub abilities and they work great!♡ You can have amazing abilities and still suck at the game. So to be honest I really don't mind because I can make the most of it. Again (they probably won't read it but thanks to the store and the usps♡ I love my purchase♡) ... show more
