  • Fun to watch her work at it
My cat has gotten really good at this puzzle feeder. She really likes the Temptations treats I put into it so I think that helps motivate her to work at getting them. The first time I used it I put a treat into each cup and left them open for her, so she didn’t have to do any work really to get to them. She stuck her mouth into each cup and got the treat out easily. Then I put the treats in the cup and just covered them with the sliding leaves. I sat on the floor and slid the leaf back and forth on one to see if that helped her get the idea of what she needed to do. I don’t know if it helped but after a bit of sniffing around she did use her nose to push one of the leaves away so she could get to the treat. I did this for a few days in a row, only using the leaves to cover the treats. After a week or so, I put a treat into a few of the ladybugs and treats into a few of the cups with the leaf covers. I was afraid she wouldn’t be able to figure out the more complex, multi-step maneuvers needed to get the treats from the ladybugs and wanted her to be able to get at least a few treats the known, easier way. I saw her sniffing at the ladybugs and trying to stick her paw and nose into the ladybug hole but with no success. It took her a day or two but she eventually figured out how to slide the ladybug back and forth to get the treat into the cup. She did it using her nose instead of her paw. But then the other day I saw her using her paw to slide the ladybug back and forth. I was so excited when I saw that. So, it took her a little bit, but she did eventually figure it out. It’s been a few days now since she starting solving the ladybug puzzle but each time I put treats in the feeder for her it still takes her a bit to figure out how to get them out. I can almost see her brain working, haha. It’s fun to watch her solve the puzzles and get the rewards. I really do think this enrichment is good for her. Super happy I got this feeder. ... show more

  • Super fun enrichment for cat
This is such a good product my cat loves. I try to put treats in there once a week for her to get enrichment time, and she enjoys the puzzle every time! It keeps her engaged for about 10-20 minutes, which is a good amount of time for her short attention span. The only downside is that it is a big hard to clean, as you can't take it apart to get into the crevices, so beware of that! ... show more

  • My Garfield LOVES This Puzzle
At first I made the mistake of loading this puzzle up with Garfield's regular dry cat food and he showed little interest in it. Then I loaded the game with his favorite cat treats and he became highly motivated and figured how to get the reward in less than 2 minutes. Now, this is the standard way I give him cat treats and he loves playing with this thing. ... show more

  • Fun for cats!
Once she cleared it out she laid on it. I have had days like that after a meal. Lol. I have had these for a while. Both my boy and girl love these! The puzzle was easy for the boy even as a kitten. The girl took a little longer. She could manipulate the toy but had a hard time getting the treats out. They are a little over 1 year now. They both love their puzzles and she's become an expert. ... show more

  • Smart cat
My cat figured this out pretty quickly and uses it daily. Takes very little time for her to get all the food out. Food does get stuck under the solid green parts if you accidentally overfill.

  • Great puzzle feeder.
This puzzle feeder was the first one I bought, but it didn't take too long for my cat to understand it. It doesn't take him much time at all to get all of the food out now, but at least he still has to work for it! I have more complicated ones now, but I still use this as well. I would say it's a really good entry level puzzle, or that it would be good for a cat that is resistant to working very hard. Mine is young and full of energy, but this might be the most effort an older cat is willing to put in without getting frustrated. ... show more

  • Love it!
I have 2 kitties and actually purchased it for my older boy who is not a toy player in hopes this may help with some boredom. Of course, little brother took to it right away and he uses it daily. The puzzle is so well made , easy to clean, fill and adorable! It may not be for every cat, but I am so glad I gave it a try…. Sterling loves it ! We thank you! ... show more

  • not for my cats
Got this for my overweight kitty, hoping it would challenge his mind and keep him occupied. He was VERY interested watching me put the treats in and jumped when I let him at it. Sadly, it took him .5 seconds to figure out, get all the treats, and lose interest. Ended up returning. May have worked better if he hadn't watched me, but I doubt it. As soon as he figured out he just has to scoot things a little bit, I think the result would have been the same. ... show more
