I bought it to run as a DRL. It looks really nice on the front of our Jeep. The goal of it getting people's attention was confirmed by a fellow motorist who actually waved us up next to him and told us how much he liked the light and wanted to put one on every car he has. FYI - I adjusted it downward so that it won't blind oncoming traffic. But it's bright glow really makes the vehicle stand out in traffic, which was my goal. Easy to hook up just wish they gave you mounting brackets . I know every install is different but it would help. Best to use a relay especially if using them on truck for added high beams. Nice light overall.

I had a black housing 20inch nilight light bar that lasted 9 years and still works. The only problem was the mount. That was the weak point that was failing. When I saw the price, I was very skeptical because you know that old saying, "You get what you pay for"! Well, these should be called, "Nonight"! A nice wide flood area and this amber light highlights the lines on the road. Living in rural South Dakota, deer and other animals are abundant and seeing them laying on the side of the roads indicates the need for better lighting other than high beams. Mounting it on my grill guard was easy, even though there was no mounting instructions. They could design the mounting brackets better but all in all, it's pretty easy to install. I purchased the optional plug in wiring harness for this and with some slight modification, it was a breeze hooking into my Super Duty's Upfitter connections. It looks great, installs fairly and produces an ample amount of light with a nice, wide beam. For the money, this is an exceptional light and you're getting way more than what you're paying for! ... show more
