Description

POWERED UP.LeBron thrives when stakes are high and the pressure's on. The LeBron 19 harnesses that energy with a locked-in fit and an updated cushioning system. The snug inner sleeve is pulled together by a sculpted overlay that the laces feed through to help prevent the foot from moving inside the shoe. Cushioned pods around the collar and tongue add comfort while reducing weight, giving players the secure feel and confidence to go all out when the game is on the line. Impact AbsorptionThe retooled cushioning system combines 360 visible Max Air unit with a thick, responsive Zoom Air unit under the forefoot. The Max Air helps to dissipate impact forces, while the Zoom Air helps drive you down the court. The bottom of the shoe is designed to look like valves and tubes that form its inner workings. Lightweight ContainmentA full inner sleeve conforms to the foot for a snug, secure feel. The thin, transparent exterior layer is highly durable and lightweight to help reduce in-shoe movement. King of ControlInspired by LeBron's crown logo, a micro- engineered blade pattern on the rubber outsole adds multidirectional traction. Cushioned ComfortPods embedded in the tongue and collar provide lightweight cushioning around the ankle and over the top of the foot. Cushlon foam feels soft, stable and responsive. Flywire cables work with the laces to provide more support as you tighten them. LeBron's logo is visible through the bottom of the shoe.

  • My Third Pair
Size: 11.5 Color: Wild Berry 500
I buy shoes for practicality. These LeBron 19's are beyond my normal comfort zone for style. I'm a grandpa turning 60 soon and don't even follow basketball. My daughters will not let me wear white athletic shoes. But I also have a surgically rebuilt clubbed foot that was getting worse. My podiatrist said it was surgery or a custom orthotic, meaning orthopedic shoes and/or a brace. Those would run a minimum of $500 and would need to be replaced every six months. So I looked for an alternative. Surgery may or may not work. I've worn high tops for years because my ankle rolls from my clubbed foot. I reasoned that basketball players would need the highest quality and SUPPORTIVE athletic shoes. So instead of buying on a budget (under $100), I decided to just go for quality. I was very pleased to learn that with careful shopping, I could get shoes of this quality for less than $150. The soles are stiff, strong, supportive and with just enough flex. I bought 11 and half because that is the size of my left (normal) foot. My clubbed foot is a nine and half. But the eleven and half works because of the shape of the foot. I put in a thin, flat carbon fiber insert in the right so it won't flex, which causes me pain and eventually breaks my foot. The upper part of the shoes has supports in the middle to prevent my foot/ankle from rolling.. You can see it in the pictures. The uppers are strong and provide excellent support. The LeBron's XIX have air cushions in the sole for comfort and around the ankles for support. They feel like they suck down around my foot providing support and comfort. I exercise regularly and of course they're great for that. These are my third pair and they last 9 months under daily wear. Even after 9 months they are still decent and I then use them for my working shoes if I don't need boots. I know collectors and enthusiast would get upset at this, but I NEED good shoes and can't afford to collect them. I don't know what the plastic like outer material is, but they are easy to clean, seem waterproof and my foot stays cool and comfy. By upgrading the quality of my shoes, I SAVE money because they last longer. Also, I personally save a lot of money because I don't need to buy custom made, orthopedic shoes. My podiatrist enthusiastically approves of these shoe because they work FOR ME. He is also an avid enthusiast of basketball shoes. He even recommended shoes from other players, but I love my LeBron's. The colorful style has grown on me. ... show more

  • Worth the buy.
Box was a little beat up but that's not why I bought the shoes so o well to that. I'm happy with the look they are sleek and look as the picture shows them. They however are for people with thin feet as they are snug without socks on ( I bought half size bigger then my foot) so I'd go a full size up in shoe size if your going to buy this shoe. I didn't buy because I like Bron lol I bought for looks and they certainly have it. I'd buy another pair for sure ... show more

  • Not at all happy!!!
Size: 11 Color: Blackened Blue/Medium Blue
So, I've literally bought and gone through 4 (that's, FOUR) pair of these LeBron 19's. The first 2 were the all yellow ones, the 3rd pair was the all "pink" ones and then this latest pair was the Blackened ones. All 4 pair failed within the first 2 months of wearing/using them. I play ball, indoors, wood floor, full court 3 times a week for about 90-minutes a day (M, W, F) in the am. Been doing that with this group of guys for almost 30 years. 55 yrs old, 6' 1", 180 lbs...not Shaq or Zion!! All four pair had the air sole pop under the ball of the foot (1 pair was the left shoe, the other 3 where the right shoe). After spending between $185 and $235 per pair and ONLY wearing them while actually playing ball (indoors), they should last longer than 2 months!!! I never wear any of my basketball shoes outside or for any other reason. Why would I keep buying pair after pair!? Because, I thought, "This HAS to be a fluke!" Can't have 2 pair that pop! Then, no way you can have THREE pair that all pop the same! Then, FOUR PAIR!? The odds gotta be in my favor at some point! Nope!! I won't be trying pair #5! They fit and felt SO MUCH BETTER than any other pair I've ever worn over the years...before they popped! I just kept hoping they'd last longer than 8 weeks, 3 mornings a week. The last 2, Nike wouldn't do anything for me until I took them into a store and talked with the manager. After spending over $1,200 on those and other shoes as well, the manager understood and gave me a one-time credit of $140. Appreciated and better than nothing, for sure, but still felt a little slighted. Moral: Don't buy the 19's if you're 55 yrs, 6' 1", 180 lbs and play old man pick-up ball 3 days a week. ... show more

  • Great shoes…but here’s a heads up before buying them.
Size: 11.5 Color: Phantom/Canyon Purple
These shoes are really cool basketball shoes, and lots of people at my school liked them. One thing you ought to know before buying them…these shoes only work well with long pants or socks, because with out those two things you start getting rashes and cuts from the upper portion of the shoe…that’s all you’ll need to know about these basketball shoes Thanks for reading my review I hope this information comes in handy! ... show more

  • They look great, but the fit is a bit off
Size: 11.5 Color: University Gold/Black/University Gold
Great looking shoe, tight on the sides so maybe go for a wider version, I normally don't buy wide shoes, but with this one I would, and also a half size to a whole size up for length.
