This line does cost alittle more but it's really very high quality. It just doesn't make sense to use cheap line that can cost you a good fish. Plus the performance of the line is also as important, especially if your not casting as well with cheaper line.

I bought this in the orange color specifically for backer on my lead core trolling reels. It has ran on my boat all summer now for Lake Erie Walleyes and performed fine. The orange makes it much more visible out on the planer boards helping keep lines evenly spaced, and even helping to see when fish are on. I respool all my gear every 1-2 years, depending on use, condition, and how line performs. These set ups definitely look like they will be fine for a second year.
