I LOVE this cooler!! It is the PERFECT option for a renter who doesn’t even have the option in their apartment for a water connection to their fridge. (Especially in a place like LA). I use the water cooler to make ice and then I transfer the ice to my fridge’s ice maker compartment in the freezer. I am then able to use my fridge to retrieve ice from the door. Pros: -good amount of ice made at a time (9 pieces) -ice is actually pretty solid. In other words, it won’t melt on you two seconds after putting in a drink -the machine isn’t loud at all. The only sound you really hear is when the machine is making ice and the ice “drops” into the storage area below, but it is by NO means a distraction of any kind. Cons: - I don’t mind having to press the button to initiate the ice-making option (because I wouldn’t want the machine continuously making ice if I already have enough made and in my freezer), but to have to press a button so that either the very cold or hot water dispenses isn’t ideal. If you are thirsty for a cold drink of water, you want it right then. You don’t want to have to press a button and wait minutes later for the water to be chilled. I wished I had bought this sooner! It works great. We love the ice. Now the whole family is drinking water. It takes the hot water several minutes to warm up but it is perfect for hot chocolate. Although it is quite noisy, the benefits far outweigh the noise! Buy this now!!

Never worked. Had hot water and that's it. I heard if they lay them down anytime during the shipping process, they ruin them. That's probably what happened to the one they sent. Very disappointing.

I took one star off because the water isn't as cold as I'd like it to be, and because it had to sit a few days before it would make ice. I was getting ready to return it, but out of the blue it just started making the ice! It works well, and I'm happy with it! I purchased this because our ice maker broke and we got tired of the water bottles. So far it has been great. It makes ice real quick and makes your drinks taste better, soda pops do not lose their fizz as quick, water temperatures are perfect. Definitely recommend. Great investment.

Unit works beautifully. Ice is made quickly but it is a soft ice that melts quickly. But plentiful enough to get more . I do like this product and very easy on 5 gallon bottles.

    • Love the water /ice feature not working
I absolutely loved this the cold water is super cold hot is super hot I love that it has a button that gives room temperature as well however the first time I made ice it was fantastic the second time I tried it was just cold water ? Not sure if I did something or if it’s defective?
