I am in love with these. I have had so many things they rave about how long the battery lasts yet you use the product for a few minutes and it dies. Not these I do security work at night for a loading dock and these last me for two or three nights before recharge.

Mostly good. If can't find a better one with options, then would buy these again. Main things. 1. Adjusting sides to wear without glasses doesn't adjust far enough. Needs to adjust to stronger prescription strengths. 2. Must and Definitely needs more powerful Starlight Colored Night Vision. 3. Must and Definitely needs to zoom in and focus farther. I don't know if these are waterproof or drop-shock-proof. That's pretty much all the things deficient with these. Maybe they will come out with a new version that fixes these problems extremely soon. It's a monocle with two screens. It's not binoculars with one lens for right output and one lens for left output. It's one lens for both right and left output. The Lowest IR setting whites out everything in the center out to 30 yards. Can't turn IR off on it to use another IR source that doesn't white out everything. Lowest magnification setting is 1.5x, not 1x. What the thing does and what it's advertised as able to do are completely different. ... show more

While I was very surprised by the quality and how well they worked, the head mount is NOT a helmet and a bit difficult to keep the eye pieces oriented. The included mounting hardware will NOT fit on an actual helmet. Now these are no $1000 set of NV goggles. But they are worth more than they cost. With these goggles, in the pitch black, I can see 800ft away and clearly identify animals in my field. The camera is a little gritty but it takes nothing but a star away from this review. A clearer camera and the ability to mount to a helmet would push this product over the top. The media could not be loaded. The night vision binoculars with a helmet mount from Carlton, is a very capable set of night vision goggles. With its great night capabilities and accessory to attach it to a helmet, this one is worthy of your consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Capabilities – These goggles provide very good night vision capabilities for this price point. I find them to be very usable, only wishing the pictures was a little less grainy. The graininess is less than the others I’ve tried, but more than more expensive versions. These work very good in the daylight as well, unlike many others in this class. Also, the night vision capabilities are the best I’ve tried in this price range. II. Helmet Attachment – The helmet attachment is usable, but difficult to get it to sit and hold correctly. It allows you to flip them up and down, so the only way I can really use them effectively is to flip it down while stopped and then up to move. III. Quality – The quality of the goggles themselves is decent and probable in the upper-middle range. It’s about the same as everything I’ve gotten around this price. The focus adjustments and the helmet attachment apparatus feels very cheap and are a little disappointing. Overall, this is a very capable and usable night vision set-up with the ability to use them in the day like binoculars. I have multiple pairs of night vision goggles, but I got these for the helmet attachment. The helmet attachment is usable, but not the best and worse than I was hoping. But, after realizing its capabilities, I think it would be worth it to get them just for those. Of course, you could spend more for better quality and capabilities, but I think this one is more than sufficient for most peoples needs and will save you some money. If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection and demo of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. After spending too much money on this. I took it out last night to hunt wild hogs. 1st grainy resolution with no focus ability to see out to 50 yards. 2nd the sight controls are cheaply made useless ! Highly upset with junk quality
