It’s cute. My Maltese puppy really seems to like grooming Chuckie’s hair. Only the head crinkles. The squeaker floats around and might be in a leg or in the head or body at any given time. Unfortunately, the squeaker quit making noise within two days. I assume that a puppy tooth pierced it. The doll still looks new, so it didn’t get a lot of rough treatment. In comparison, the puppy also plays with a 5 year old hand-me-down SPOT Skinneez Crinkler cow that our ferret dragged around and wrestled with until he got too elderly for vigorous activity. The cow looks shabby after years of use, but it still squeaks like a champ. ... show more

Definitely purchased this out of 90's nostalgia with full knowledge that he wouldn't last long thanks to the squeaker that drives my brindle. I will absolutely say that my pup loved this toy and he toted him around the house for most of the day before the madness began... someone noticed the squeak, I will say that the stitching holding the head on we the first to let go and it only took one shake of his head for the unbelievable amount of stuffing this thing held to be raining all over my living room and every room he dragged it through trying to escape me know I'm attempting to take it away... It’s almost as big as he is he loves the crinkle sound in it . he is still teething and it’s soothing to his gums to chew on it.
