I've purchased several brands of velvet chenille yarn recently and many of them shred to pieces very easily. This brand holds together well and colors are true to pics. I've reordered several colors and been very pleased. Also, the skeins are well wrapped which seems like a silly thing but the velvet yarn balls start coming apart pretty quick (because the yarn is so smooth) but somehow the way these are spun into the skein just stays together really well. Not important but I've spent plenty of time untangling skeins of velvet yarn so it's a plus! ... show more

This yarn is very soft! I made some plushies with it and they were really cute! But what I didn't like was how it was shedding. It's really annoying to clean up every 4 minutes or so. And in one of my yarn balls, the yarn kept breaking of as I was crocheting. It was annoying to tie up the yarn back together. But overall, this yarn is not so bad! ... show more

The tassels on my throw blanket were ruined by my washer and going by the color of the yarn pictured, it was a perfect match! I had my doubts when I ordered it, but I'm soooo pleased that I found it on the first try! It's actually better quality yarn than was originally used and I believe will hold up better in the wash. The skeins were a little smaller than I expected (see the second picture - I have small hands), but it's more than enough to redo all the tassels, 6 x 8" lengths per tassel with 33 tassels on each end, with plenty left over just in case. ... show more

For small amigurumi this is amazing yarn. Super soft and feels good quality. For comparison, it’s quite a bit smaller than Premier Parfait Chunky yarn which is the larger frog in the photo.

I buy a lot of baby chenille for baby blankets. This is a very low quality yarn. It frays at the ends and unravels randomly along the string. Also, there were 3 places in one skein where they had tied ends together. I would not buy this again.
