I bought this straightening brush to use on my 7 year old daughter's wavy hair. It always looks messy and she hates having anyone style her hair. I was trying to find something that would make it look nice and be fast. This does just that! It heats up very quickly and is very simple to use - all you have to do is brush the hair. My daughter's hair is fine so sometimes I don't even bother to section it off. She even wants to do it herself sometimes, which is fine with supervision. If you move it the wrong way, you can feel the heat and get "burned", but overall my daughter complains about the heat less when I use this versus my flat iron. For reference, I have been a flat-iron lover for 15+ years. This straightening brush makes your hair feel softer than a flat iron but doesn't smooth flyaways like a flat iron does. The flat iron is also easier to get straight ends, where the straightener brush you have to physically flip the hair to get it to lay the way you want. Both are great tools and have different purposes in my opinion.

Wow just wow . I’ve wasters so much money on hair straighteners and this blows them all out of the water . I have thick frizzy hair and all I do and blow dry my hair ( I don’t straighten it ) then brush my hair with this . I really like it !

I purchased this product because I am disabled and have severe left-sided weakness. It is difficult for me to style my hair with two hands, especially to style the back of my hair. I wanted it to be as simple as brushing your hair but it is not quite that easy. It takes a bit of technique and I have to use this straightening and protective spray because my hair is processed, damaged, and "floofy" as you can see in the before picture. I highly recommend the product as pictured I purchased it here on Amazon for under $5. I love how quickly it straightens my hair, the ease of use, and the pretty pink color. I do not like that when I'm using it I keep hitting the buttons and having to check did I just turn it off or change the heat setting? I also gave it 4 stars because no matter how hard I try I can't manage to get the left side of my hair in the back to calm down probably relating to my issues with left arm usage. I also think it would be difficult to use to straighten hair that is particularly curly or thick because it is hard for even my thinned wavy hair to get the small hairs around my face and close to the root. Overall it is a good product for the right person.

I got this on sale I believe, and it does straighten your hair, but it left it frizzy. The brush felt like it was ripping more hair out than my other hot tools, not sure if it has something to do with the way the bristles are? Also doesn't get as hot as I'd like.

Frist things first, this is not designed to be used on WET HAIR. I used it on my daughters hair after a wash and a blow dry and a thorough brushing. She has light wavy hair, nothing too tough or curly. It easily catches and tangles hair even with a heat and detangling spray (even after the brushing). It took 6 passes for each section of hair but it did eventually straighten the hair. Once it catches on a tangle, you have to yank it off that section or it will start to burn the hair. The element is too hot to get close enough to the shorter hairs around the front. All told, it took 32 mins to do a children's sized head. Got had again with the late night IG ads. Not impressed, guess I'll stick with her RevAir to do everything at once.
