I bought this for use as prusik cord with a 1/2" tree climbing rope. It is very stiff, making it slip a lot until it locks in, then is difficult to release, so I'll say it isn't great for that. I am using this along with some pulleys to make a kind of cable weight thing on my power rack. This is a nice piece of rope just the right diameter and just the right amount of stiffness. This would probably be great for those who just like tying knots also I suspect.

Used this to replace the straps on my tree stand climbing sticks. This is static rope meaning it won’t stretch under load which is what you want for hanging tree stands and climbing sticks. Can also be used for a lightweight secondary linesman’s belt to go around tree limbs, etc.
