Personally I don't find it that much more comfortable than other cushions. It is however very nice that it dries pretty quickly. And if you need to you can take off the cover and put it through the wash which is nice.

This seat is extra thick. It has flex holes that reduces the weight of the seat while providing sufficient support and comfort. The cover is well made and helps hold the seat in place. Due to the thickness, it is a bit heavy, but that helps hold the seat in place. I found this seat to be very comfortable and permits enough give to let you paddle.
