I’m a 76-year-old of failing health who is essentially housebound. I use a walker to get around and need help getting down to my shoes. I’ve bought through Amazon maybe 6 pair of footwear for my needs and this product has been the best so far. It’s light weight, soft to my sensitive skin yet provides adequate protection to my soles while walking. Since it’s meant to be in water, it also can be worn in the shower and dries safely on its own. It also doesn’t have straps like sandals that can bruise my skin and it’s Velcro fastener allows me or my caregiver the ability to easily adjust how tight I want it. My caregiver also only has to help with putting on the shoes once in the morning and help removing them once at night which leads to its only minor quibble for my situation. There is a loop at the heel which I thought I could use to pull the shoe on myself but I can’t get down that far. If the company could offer as an optional accessory, a cheap thin hook and rod so that I could use it to pull the shoe back to get my toes on in the front and up over my heel, I would gratefully pay lots extra. That arrangement would also allow me to adjust the Velcro on my own as well. That said, after months of trying, this is the footwear for me. ... show more

I should have read the other reviews when they said the soles were slippery. I thought they just meant walking around the pool. They were slippery IN the pool. I couldn't keep a grip on the pool floor while doing my water aerobics class. Otherwise, they fit well, but the velcro strap flapped around in the water.
