The media could not be loaded. These served the purpose perfectly! Our 14-mo-old granddaughter came to visit and we knew she loved to open kitchen cabinets and drawers. These were easy to install and use. Because they use double-stick tape to adhere, the removal was a bit more tricky, so I have included two photos of my husband's technique for removal which took about 40 seconds to do. The hot gun is set to 50 degrees C (or you can use a hair dryer). Then watch the video. Gently heat the backing, use a plastic scraper to gently push the [now] soft tape and remove from the cabinet surface. No harm caused to the cabinet! We will save these for her next visit and at that time we will use Command backs instead. Really great product. ... show more

I used these to toddler proof filing cabinet drawers. They were easy to put on, have adjustable strap length and attached good and tight. So far she hasn’t figured out how to get them open! I have not tried to remove them yet, so can’t help there.

Let’s face it, most baby locks work until your baby/toddler figures how to unlock them. My grandson would just baby Hulk them and pull them right off without even unlocking them. My granddaughter is a petite little thing and these work great for her. The lock has an additional slide lock to ensure the little ones have more of a challenge. I initially purchased some other strap-style cabinet safety locks when my toddler started learning how to open things. And they worked - but they were a total pain to open! They were the kind that came with a little indent type mechanism on the front of the locking part, and you had to slide that button to release the lock. But I often ended up having to use a fingernail on the inside edge to get it to slide, because no traction for wet or greasy fingers (and I was mostly using these in the kitchen, so...) I also had to deal with the strap getting shut in the door when the cabinets got closed. Same issue with drawers. Had the same kind on my diaper changing station drawers, and it made it tough to open while already dealing with squirming little one, and then got stuck in the drawer when closing. THIS product, on the other hand, was a game changer. The two buttons on the outer edges of the locking mechanism are super easy to press, making it much, much easier to open. And the swivel function on the strap means that it swings down and out of the way when you open the cabinet, so no more straps getting caught in the doors/drawers when shutting. This was one of those products that isn't glamorous or exciting, but it made me SO happy because it eliminated some of my everyday struggles. They are a tiny bit pricier than the kind I originally purchased, but very much worth those few dollars, in my opinion. ... show more
