I use this notebook along side of Obsidian as a way to jot down notes. It took a bit of programming on my part to get the integration working, but worked out fantastic in the end. I love that it can work with many different destinations (at the same time), which allows me to send it to my electronic notes, email, local file directory or archive all at the same time. Once it is set up, it works flawlessly and reasonably quickly. Wish list: The paper feels plastic-y. This is probably the biggest and most well-know gripe. Also, there should be a big sticker on the front of the notebook that says "DON'T USE THE PEN ERASER.". Or supply a customized pen that doesn't have the eraser on it. Maybe put a different nib or color on the other end instead of the eraser. There should be a pen loop hidden in the edge of the notebook that can be pulled out if desired. For a real treat, add about 20 programmable RFID stickers into the binding, just like the one that launches the app, but adjustable for whatever you want. A nice little water misting atomizer would be great. Add some circular printable labels for those RFID tags. All of these things can be done manually anyway, except for fixing the paper. ... show more

    • Reduced Clutter on My Desk!

I’ve been wanting a digital notebook to reduce the clutter on my desk for work - too many paper notebooks and sticky notes everywhere! I bought this as a transition to a more expensive fully digital notebook to see if the concept and usage would fill my needs. So far I’ve used it on a daily basis for personal and work related lists, notes, to do’s, games, and charting. It’s super easy to erase with the recommended Pilot FrixIon pens. Even easier if you use the provided microfiber cloth by dampening it. If I need to write on that same page quickly, I use something to fan it dry or I use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe away the excess moisture. I put sticky page tags with labels on them to help me separate the various uses between home and work life. And I enjoy the satisfaction of simply wiping it clean when I no longer need the notes I’ve written instead of balling up a page of notebook paper and adding it to the recycling bin. I’ve greatly reduced the amount of back and forth going between several notebooks or the multiple sticky notes that covered my desk to remind myself of things. I purchased my Rocketbook initially as a gift for a friend. I then decided to buy one for myself; that was a great decision on my part. It’s a great opportunity, especially for writers, or anyone who takes lots of notes, to capture them in a place that can be saved either to email or synced to the cloud or wherever you choose to have it sent. I love it, and I highly recommend it. It’s important that you (1) get extra pens. You need to use only a FriXion Pen so you can easily erase the pages. One pen comes with it, but the ink will eventually dry out. You can buy a Rocketbook accessory kit, which includes additional pens; and (2) allow sufficient time for the pen ink to bond to the page after you write your notes. The instructions say allow about 15 seconds. But I find it takes about 45 seconds to one minute. I’m happy with my Rocketbook, and anyone else who gets it will be happy as well. My friend told me he likes it too. It’s money well spent, and it is much better than some of the more expensive Smart notebooks. This one does the job beautifully. ... show more

It’s an okay item. It’s rather like writing on glass. Difficult to have neat handwriting it’s so slick. I’m hoping it gets better. For the price:.. they could have included a couple of pen loops and a flap on the inside of both covers to hold memo cards, sticky notes or another page pack. I really want to love this, but I will need to carry a bag to contain the extras needed to make it fully functional. I’m not sure if I would recommend this product and don’t think I will be purchasing any add ons. Feels like a gimmicky item with a short lifespan. ... show more

I like this PRO but you have to buy every additional page you desire and there’s no way to add pages. You have to take the whole attachment out(note pages) and buy a calendar attachment and put it in…do you can only have one attachment in at a time. I wanted this for the calendar feature. So I bought the regular one with the monthly calendar pages and weekly planner pages and note pages which is much more better and versatile. I love the fact that I can erase and reuse the pages and upload to my cloud. ... show more
