Got the cable the night before typing this out. I just tried using it and either one part of the cable isn't detected or the oculus app doesn't even load with the headset. The previous cable I used would be detected instantly and never have connection issue, up until recently when it decided to give up, which is why I bought this replacement cable.     • It worked just like the OEM
It worked just like the original. My Rift S was working like the $600 device I paid for. but then things stopped. I had to go in for a surgery and have not troubleshoot the problem yet

First plug in connector got hot and never worked; plugged back in original cable and worked but was spotty (reason looking for replacement). Wish it had worked.

i bought it with the idea that it would fix a problem that i had with the display port. It did but then developed me other problems wich resolted t making me by a new vr

    • Fixed my Displayport Connection Error
My Oculus Rift S stopped working out of the blue and was displaying an error about my Displayport Connection not working. After trying everything I could to repair the Oculus Software and make sure that my Displayports on my PC were working I gave up and started looking for a replacement cable. It seems that Oculus no longer manufactures cables, so I bought this one instead. My issue was fixed immediately after replacing the original cable with this one.     • Doesn't work.
I kept it in the package for a few months and when I went to plug it in the display cord didn't work. I rechecked it with my other rift S cord (that still works) and that works just fine.
