The directions were very simple to follow. This took me maybe 30 minutes to assemble. Seems to be very sturdy. Each bar was clearly labeled with a sticker, which made it super easy to put together. My picture is before the final bars were put on. It seems to be holding up pretty well. Was a good fair deal for the price. Plenty of storage space on the bottom. Also the screws had a label on the package with a picture that shows what’s in each section. We bought this base as a temporary solution until We have a nicer wooden base. Its surprising sturdy for one 270 pound male and would easily handle more weight. It does walk away from the wall each night on my hardwood floors. Assembly could be challenging to someone with low aptitude for such things but it's a breeze for anyone with an ordered mind. This bed is sturdy, it doesn’t creak or squeak or make noises of any kind. It was super easy to put together and the instructions are extremely simple. It doesn’t take up much space. I love this bed and I definitely recommend it.

I got the 16inch black full size frame to support 6 inch memory mattress in the box. The mattress fit perfectly and feels supported on all sides. The box it arrived in was fairly small but heavy. Instructions were simple. It came with the tools you need but if you want the bolts to be tighter and the set up to go faster a power tool is recommended. One person can put it together with wall support to balance the frame but two is definitely better. As for a con, I would say that the mattress can slide around so buying the no slide attachments would solve that issue. Day 1 no noises. The 16inch bed comes up to knee level on a 5'7 person. When you add 6in mattress then thigh level. Getting off the bed your feet meet the floor perfectly. Adding that info for those with back issues. The older I get I think I would go up in hight for the frame or mattress in the future. Lots of space for under bed storage. This would make for a great gift! ... show more
