Stops working after a month. Firmware upgrade still did not resurrect it. Waste of time! Noise level is not noticeable when you walk away from it, but it does generate much heat for very minimal returns, especially when you have another fan running to keep it between 58 - 67°F (14.4 - 19.4°C). Turning off that extra fan, you can literally see it go up by a Farenheit every 2 seconds via the monitoring software. It will easily shoot past 75°F if ambient temperatures are not kept low. After a month, you will only earn around $39, and that is with Doge & Bells included with LTC (or $1.30 per day before electricity). The returns may look attractive to some, but if the device fails in just one month, how is that a good return on your investment? Waste of time! ... show more

Had the unit show dead on my pool after about 12 hours.... unplugged everything and let it set for about an hour. Plugged ethernet in, power supply and it fired back off,, ramped up and is working as it should for about 48 hours now..

Restocking fee is you return. $150 loss. Miner worked for 2 weeks and died. I expected to be fully refunded but they charge a restocking fee. Buyer beware.

    • Can not do 700MHS
The miner constantly overheats and can only consistently mine 100 MHS as the set fan speed is way to slow and it is not adjustable. Total waste of money, do not buy from GoldShell
