Features

  • Canaan has launched the Avalon Nano 3 ASIC miner designed for residential spaces, featuring the SHA-256 algorithm for direct Bitcoin mining.
  • The Nano 3 boasts an eye-catching design with an information display screen and simple setup, making it suitable for beginners or as a gift.
  • Despite its small size and quiet operation, its hash rate of 4Th/s and power consumption of 140W result in a relatively low energy efficiency of around 35 J/TH.
  • Connecting to Canaan's mining pool can circumvent withdrawal issues common in conventional pools, with a minimum withdrawal amount of 1000 satoshis, paid via the Lightning Network.
  • Technical specifications of the Canaan Avalon Nano 3 include dimensions of 205x115x57mm, a TDP of 140W, and a noise level of 36dB.

  • Set a password unless using what is programed
Works as should your not going to make a killing and yes it cost to run but there's a little room for profit. If you see it as it takes it to make it it's something little you can do and down the rd could be even better but it is a chance that it's worthless as the dollar you hold today!

  • I have 8x so far.
I have 8 running, I stack them and have a fan blowing on them and the AC adaptor to keep them cool. Was pretty plug and play. The UI is great, I seen another poster trashing these things and I had to come say something because they are actually really good. Considering you get 3-4TH at 140 watts that is pretty good and not having to do any crazy 220volt 50 amp electrical like you do with all other miners with more than 4TH. If you don’t know much about electrical these are the fastest you will find for regular outlets. 2 more arriving Saturday 😁 ... show more

  • Venders unloading Junk!
A. I’m almost certain Amazon vendors are unloading junk onto customers. B. This is my fourth miner, all with issues like missing apps for operation. C. There are no proper guides, and online advice is unreliable, often leaving out key details. D. The browser blocks the site page. E. There’s no incentive to join mining pools anymore, yet YouTubers keep sharing. The top streamer only criticizes miners with a negative, glass-half-empty attitude. ... show more

  • It works but the set up is janky
First, the miner does what it's expected. It's mines comfortablely at the whatever levels it is set at (2TH for low, 3TH for mid, 4TH for hi) and, the noise is barely noticable. But the initial setup for it needs to be fixed. The wifi setup is a pain especially if you have an Xfinity router. The only way it can connect to anything if you setup and use your phone's hotspot. Secondly, you should be able to set you miner's up address to static which can reduce signal drop off. As of the moment, I'm using an old phone hotspot capability to connect my two miners until Canaan can put out a firmware fix for this. ... show more

  • Best Space Heater/Bitcoink Miner Ever
Color: White
This miner is rock solid and delivers a true 4th/s. I use It as a space heater as well, it’s silent so doesn’t create a distraction or annoy you. I don’t know why they don’t sell these in stores.

  • Nano3
Color: White
Bought 4 of theses one shuts down and restarts a one has died. I opened it up to see what went wrong so I have to find someone to repair it. The other two have run good so far.

  • Very loud and very useless thing.
Aside from the thing being useless, the fans are total inadequate and when it gets hot, it gets very loud, too. Fans collect dust immediately and overall this could have been a much better design. Not the worst in terms of hash/power consumed though.

  • DO NOT BUY!
These things are total garbage and I strongly suggest not buying them. They make just under 4 th/s but constantly drop the signal and don't search for it again. I have a fiber optic line run directly to my house and a RT-AX5400 wifi router. The Nano 3 is physically the closest device to my router and it still drops the signal about twice a day. You have to constantly keep watching it or checking your mining pool to see if it's still actually working. I suspect the firmware in this thing is so badly written that it's causing crashes. ... show more
