The functionality of pulling this out of your back pocket and being able to take notes on the spot is very helpful. My teenage daughter is very much into art, both digital and on paper. She was wanting ways to do more drawing so she primarily uses the iPad (which she saved up for, and bought with her own money) for that. She does stream movies as well but art and streaming movies is just about all she uses it for. She loves the size, weight, and color of it as well as the amount of storage space. I had wanted an iPad Mini for years, ever since they first started making iPads in this smaller size. Between the prior model and this one (this one being the A17 Pro model released in 2024), several years had gone by without any update! I had a larger iPad, but I really wanted a smaller one for casual use, browsing in bed, etc. Although I was on the fence about buying this A17 Pro model — I was worried that the upgrades in this one were "not significant enough" over the old model — I was completely wrong. I find the new model way faster than my full-size iPad, and I even like using the new Apple Intelligence features that are still coming out every so often. I strongly recommend this A17 Pro iPad Mini to anyone that has an aging Mini, has only a full-size iPad, or who was just always curious about having a tablet. ... show more
