This product is awesome. It has a total of 11 ingredients no dyes or fragrances. It is a very simple salicylic acid and glycolic acid cleanser. One pump is plenty for me as a little goes a long way. After just a 2 or 3 uses, the chemical exfoliants in this product really started doing their job. My face feels smooth after every use and doesn't over-dry my skin out. As with most cleansers, my skin does feel a tad dry afterwards but nowhere near what I would expect. Great product, glad I bought 2! ... show more

I use the cleanser about once per month because it makes my skin peel noticeably. It definitely does the job, perhaps a little too well. At this rate it's going to take me forever to use the bottle but it does remove dull built up skin.

this cleanser has brought me back to neutropenia! it is absolutely incredible for my skin and I have one of those skin types that reacts to everything. it's this specific product that is simply amazing. I think it's the combo of the AHA that is working so well. You will need a moisturizer, but this cleans your face so well. It even removes the Revlon color stay eyeliner (being gentle of course!). This soap works very well! It does dry my skin out so I have to be sure to moisturize. It also causes my skin to be very sensitive especially to the sun.

I have terribly oily skin and hormonal acne outbreaks. I recently bought this after Neutrogena discontinued its Pore Refining Foaming Cleanser, which was the only thing that worked for my skin. I am in my 40’s and every cleanser that has ever worked for me has been eventually discontinued. I was skeptical about this one, because it usually takes forever for me to find a replacement. The red packaging caught my eye and I read the ingredients, which seemed to be similar to the Pore Refining Cleanser (glycolic acid and retinol seem to help my skin the most). I ordered it and tried it out and… behold… it keeps my oily skin under control and I think I’ve had a total of 3 blemishes since I started using it 2 months ago. That, in itself, is a miracle. Caution: the cleansers that usually work for me seem to be terribly drying for some people, which is why I think they keep getting discontinued. However, if your skin reminds you of an oceanic oil spill and your skin seems to became a general plague area once a month, like mine, this might just be the cleanser for you. Like every cleanser I’ve ever used, you never know until you try and fortunately, this isn’t very expensive at all. Thanks Neutrogena. You rock. ... show more
