This birdfeeder has given us hours of entertainment, discovering which birds visit our feeder when we’re not looking! It was not hard to set up, and it worked perfectly. Recently, about 14 months after purchasing, the feeder wasn’t charging properly, so I contacted the company directly. They had me send back the old one at their expense, and they sent me a brand new bird feeder! We absolutely love NETVUE, as we have other home monitoring devices from them, but we were blow away with the Birdfy by all its innovation, we have 3 of them in the backyard and they attract amazing new birds daily to them. They are very well built and come with everything you need in the box. I love the versatility to mount them in different ways and places. I have one on a tripod that I move around the yard where I want to and the other 2 are mounted, one on a wooden post and the other on a metal post. They came with hose clamps to install easily anywhere on a round pole or post. Also comes with a Velcro like band you can attach to a tree without hurting the tree. The company has really put a lot of effort into the product quality and accessories. The camera is awesome! It can identify the birds through their AI software, it takes multiple pictures and a video when motion is captured. I love that fact I can view my birds from anywhere I’m at, even when I don’t have time I can review them later and I can upload the videos and even send them to friends and family. It comes with a built in white light and an alarm installed, to put extra light on a subject at night and an alarm to run squirrels and raccoons off, comes with sound to hear them live or it’s automatically captured through the videos. Gave this to one of my daughters for Christmas. It's perfect. They added solar panels to charge it. Nice, clear video feed. Also provide another layer of security. It's field of vision is the entire back of the house

The instructions and setup were excellent - the box came with everything needed for a variety of mountings (I did direct mount to a pole in my yard). It does a great job of capturing the birds close-up with sound as they snack on seed and sing. Has motion alerts to let you know when birds are feeding - it is also easy to save and share the bird videos. This is a fantastic gift for anyone who loves the outdoors and nature. Wireless works well and was easy to connect at about 75' from the back of my door (90' from the router). This was 4 instead of 5 stars due to the camera quality/resolution of the images- the video is pretty good (5yo cell phone quality) but stills are not great. ... show more

This was our 2nd birdify camera we have purchased. We loved our first one so much we decided to get another back in February. In July it stopped taking a charge suddenly but I reached out to Netvue Support via email and they responded quickly and tried to help troubleshoot it. Unfortunately, troubleshooting did not work and they sent a completely new birdify feeder with instructions on how to send the malfunctioned one back. Netvue support made the whole process simple, quick, and easy. We now have a total of 3 birdify camera/feeders and love watching our day time and night time critters that come to visit our home. ... show more

My husband is never happier than when he's watching birds at our backyard feeders. I thought this product would let him get up close and personal with his little chums. Boy, was I right! He is thrilled with the quality and performance of this feeder/camera. It was easy to set up and it immediately started attracting some of his favorite feathered friends. He is thrilled with the quality of the videos and stills produced and one of his favorite features is the alarm which works pretty well to scare away hungry squirrels. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this camera, which provides a fun mini Nat Geo in our back yard. It definitely attracts birds, but also squirrels, of course. The image quality is not optimal. The battery needs recharge every couple of days. After the initial installation and the excitement of the first week, it kinda grows old (at least until the next season where new birds might come along). For this considering: I would go for the better image quality, and solar panel option. Mute the incoming notification or else your phone will be beeping all day long :) ... show more
