Seems to work well. I can’t see any difference from the higher price cleaners. And, I assume if I rinse well enough there is not a concern about residual chemicals. The only unknown is whether this causes extra wear on internal components of the machine. But I’m guessing other things may cause the machine to wear out first. ... show more

My Nespresso Vertuo Next machine kept notifying me I needed to descale. I purchased this solution because it was cheaper and would arrive faster than the proprietary Nespresso descaling solution. This was such a mistake. Now my machine will not recognize capsules. I have been on the phone with Nespresso customer service three times now troubleshooting. On the rare occasion we can get the machine to read the capsules, the consistency of the coffee is way off and takes like coffee flavored water with a sprinkle of citric acid. This solution has ruined my machine and I have to purchase a new one. I am beyond frustrated I didn’t bother reading the critical reviews before clicking purchase as other reviewers have been faced with similar issues and needed to also fully replace their machines. Do your self a favor, just spend the extra $6 on the real stuff, it’s not worth the risk of a full machine replacement. ... show more
