I have a few dark spots on my face (more pinkish-beige than brown) that really stand out against my pale skin, so I've experimented with many different products in an attempt to fade them away. Nothing I've tried has made them vanish, but NeoStrata's Enlighten Dark Spot Corrector has done a better job than most at lightening my dark spots and helping make them less noticeable. The product is clear with a gel-like consistency, which I prefer to the more serum-like formulas I've tried in the past as it provides better control and more precise application. I've been dabbing this onto my fingertips and massaging into my cheeks where the freckles/dark spots are clustered, and then I add another dab directly on the larger dark spots. I've been using this product for about a week now; and while my dark spots haven't disappeared, they're less visible than they were before I started using it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this product and feel it has performed better than other dark spot correctors I've tried. I would rate it 4.5 stars -- I can't give it a full 5 stars as the spots are still visible, but it's one of the best treatments I've found outside of a dermatologist's office! ... show more

This product did not blend into the skin it just sat there and left a shinny film where it was put. I did not see any signs of brown spots fading.

To date there is absolutely no difference. Applied twice daily to clean skin as directed waste if time and money.

I've had this product for a good month and it has not done anything for my brown spots - which are not super bad and only have 3.

    • seems good so far, not super irritating
this is more a product for actual spots or acne discoloration than for evening out skin tone. the tube isn’t particularly large (.70 oz) so you can’t really use it like an all over face product unless you want to be dishing out a lot of money every few weeks. the product seems to help with areas that need help lightening after a pimple heals over but i don’t get big enough pimples like that often, so i haven’t had a chance to really use it like that. overall i’d say this product is good if your skin can handle AHA and your expectations are reasonable. i’m not sure if i’d get this product again tho since i don’t need it as much as i thought i would, but i would still try it if your concerns are more appropriate for this product. ... show more
