I love the quality of the leather and have priced other leather planner covers for $194! This is a great buy and the inserts that come with it are creamy, nice paper that really don't bleed. I think it would be great if Nekmit would sell refills, even undated ones, because their quality of paper compares with Midori, which I have purchased for a long time. This planner is very easy to work with and to carry in my tote bag (just bought a new gold tote and it goes beautifully in that). It's a pleasure to work in a fine quality planner like this and I highly recommend it The stitching is superb and I do think the credit card pockets could be a bit larger-a little hard to force business cards in the slots. I'm very happy with the quality of this planner. While I did not care for the quality of the inserts, that doesn't matter at all to me as I print my own. The planner itself appears to be genuine leather, well-made, and the rings were in great condition. It was more of a deep/burgundy red than I had hoped, but looks very nice. This deluxe red textured leather binder/ planner is a winner whether it is used as a binder for journal pages or as a planner. It holds A5 size pages (5.7" wide x 8.27" tall) with 6 rings to secure them. It has a pen loop and a snap tab closure. The binder has a zipper pocket, a large interior pocket for cash or papers, and several card slots on the left side, and 2 pockets for papers on the right. It is very well made and should last for many years. The binder itself measures 9.25" x 7.67" x 1.77". I saw this binder/planner and thought it would make an excellent journal for recording thoughts and activities. Of course, it could be a great planner too. It has room to hold a lot of pages just waiting to be filled. I have decided to have my granddaughter try it out as a journal when she goes on an archaeological dig planned for later this year. It seemed to me the circumstances of the activities and their import would encourage thinking and writing a record of them. It is a lovely volume and an appropriate use. ... show more

    • Pages don't make sense
There are only 6 tabs for noting month which means that 2 months share a tab. Because of this there is no place to add daily pages without splitting the monthly pages - Daily pages between the first and second monthly page. If you use the daily pages all behind the monthly tabs, there are no tabs to separate daily pages by month. How inconvenient and unusable. I was unable to use the insert pages and had to purchase an additional set of pages for the planner. Designer needs to rethink this. ... show more
