The fit is good, the first one I got the latch/locking mechanism broke day one. The seller replaced it within a day. Second one arrives, and the latch works, but the adhesive strips give out within an hour and it falls out.

I like the idea of this a lot. It's extra organization in a semi-hidden space, however, the execution falls a little short. It's a pretty small area and I started by using it to keep the key to my hitch as well as my insurance and registration organized. However, there are two main issues that I have with it... the first one is that there is an opening on the side that allows items to fall out... Specifically the trailer hitch key. Now, when it calls out, it just falls into the center console, so it's not like there was any chance of the key getting lost, but it seems like the problem could (and should) have been addressed by fully enclosing it to start with and I can't really figure out why they decided not to. The second issue that I have is with the installation. It's basically just stuck in there with double sided tape. The problem is that the tape is on the bottom and all sides which means it's pretty much guaranteed to get stuck to something when you try to insert it. I tried several times, moving as slowly and precisely as possible and eventually I gave up on getting it perfect and decided to just live with "good enough", however, there is a small gap at the top which, when taped, means that the lid doesn't quite close properly. I can wiggle it around to get it to close, but it's certainly not ideal. As I said, I like the concept and the benefits certainly outweigh ripping it out, but it would be nice to see a redesigned version with these issues addressed. ... show more
