The media could not be loaded. Good for tea drinkers. I got a tip from tea friends to buy this for Puerh tea. They told me that if I put just 2 grams of tea for 12 hours with boiling hot water, the taste will be different from brewing it. I got curious. The one condition for this is to have an excellent thermal that can keep the heat for a long time. As they recommended it to me, and as I am a big tea drinker, I bought 2 QT. Until it came, I did not know that it has a lifetime warranty, which is fantastic. I put Puerh tea in it and drink a hot Puerh tea all day long. It is wonderful. As my school locked all water fountains to prevent unexpected infection from COVID-19, I cannot but bring hot water from home, and this Stanley bottle is my savior. I got the legendary classic one. It keeps heat really long. It pour out nicely in a stream and not splatter hot water every where. The handle is comfortable to hold and does not rattle. The cap is small making easy to turn. I like it a lot more than the Thermos Stainless King that broke down on me after about 1 year. ... show more

This arrived promptly and with none of the dings mentioned by other reviewers. It does the job - filled with almost boiling water one morning, the same water was still too hot to touch the following day. It was bought for a recent trip to some remote locations. En route I was reading Louise Erdrich's "The Night Watchman." Her wise and intelligent hero also has a Stanley, so apparently I was in good company! ... show more

    • Stanley still going strong!
Grew up with Stanley and eventually tried others like hydroflask and Thermos. Thermos I believe edges Stanley out for length of time but Stanleys generally are a little bit cheaper and they hold up just as well. Hydroflasks are easier to drink out of but get back to room temp a lot quicker. The newer handle on this one is nifty and different from the norm.     • Best thermos I've ever had
I put hot chocolate in this thing at 8:00 am and then went and walked around in the cold (about 45 deg F) for 4 hours. When I opened it, the hot chocolate was still piping hot. Make sure to fill it all the way to keep it warm. Best ever!

I have read the reviews before purchasing. There was mention of the deficient packaging so right after getting my parcel I opened and inspected the item. Sure enough the box has the unit just loose inside without any cushioning. The main tank was unscaved but the little cup has small dent on the top. The cup is rather thin steel stamping but has polymer lining acting as insulator. I decided not to make fuss about dent. It still functions and probably, I will make the little dent some company as I use the product while traveling. Performance is OK but not as good as stated. I filled tank 2/3 with water and added about third of the volume of ice. After 24 hours all ice was melted but water was still cold. I tried 6 hours and some ice is still the there. Not sure is I will be using this for hot liquids - since I live in Arizona. I like the esthetics choice. It will look better was the product wears in, as it gets nicks and scratches on the casing. Well give it more character that will not look like damage. I hope performance will not degrade with time. I will update this to let you know. ... show more
