Great bright ceiling light to replace an ancient fluoresecent circular "screw on" fixture light in the laundary room! Installation was a nightmare! No instructions on how to attach to ceiling mounting of plastic adapter to the existing ceiling screw holes. Laterfound that the fixture had an ENLARGED HOLE in one mounting slot to install one mount screw prior to aligning the mount. This made adaptor easy to install. The supplied wiring nuts were very small to attach to heavy guage house wiring and the wire length short to push connections up through mount for installing light assembly below the mount. Replacement wiring nuts and additional insulated wire was purchased to permit movement of the wiring above the mountplate and secure installation of the light assy. First light assembly failed to light on installation. Investigation indicated a cold solder joint at a solder connection-Wire disconnection at a solderJoint! A complete new light assembly was provided thank you immediatey! ... show more

Light was super easy to install. Got it all hooked up and ready to go in about 10 minutes. Bought this to replace a broken and outdated stairway light. The one con I see is this light is extremely bright. Wish they had it in a warmer white. Don't look directly at it.

Picked up 3 of these and all were super easy to install. After taking off my old lights their top piece mounts to the ceiling with just a couple screws, then you just attached the wires and rotate the light to lock in place. Super simple and took less than 10 minutes for each.

I guess I didn’t pay too much attention to the measurements before I bought - the 8.9 inch is pretty small. I was debating on exchanging but the reviews were pretty good and I was tired of not having a light in this space. Man if I got anything bigger I might blind myself. Always weary of led fixtures because I do leave this light on pretty much all day , so we’ll see about the longevity but so far very pleased. Small footprint, sleek and very powerful. Very easy to install also, if you have somewhere to tuck your wiring - the light is 100% flush with no internal cavity to store wires so if you don’t have room to tuck your wiring into the ceiling this might not be a good fit, I have older 12 g wiring in my 1928 home so it took a bit to fish my wires in but it’s up and she’s a beaut! ... show more

Depending on the size of the electrical box in your ceiling this thing can be a nightmare to install. It’s not meant to be flush mounted to the electrical box but no spacers were provided. Too much pressure will crush the surround the drywall and not let the mount sit offset from the ceiling.
