I very rarely write reviews, but after buying this bed, I wanted to help anyone else who is looking to buy a new bed. This review is a little lengthy, but you will be glad that you read it entirely. If you are like me, you have looked at all the mattress brands and have read countless reviews and looked at the pricing on all of them. I will tell you now “STOP LOOKING!” This mattress, in my opinion, is the best mattress on the market regardless of the price. I don’t know how any other mattress can compare when you look at price, comfort, quality and the 365 day trial guarantee. I ordered my mattress from Amazon because they offer a $79 delivery, set up and removal of your old mattress and box springs. No other company offered that and if you don’t use Amazon, it cost upwards of over $200! It arrived within the window scheduled (when was the last time that happened for you?) and the delivery crew did a great job, even offering to take their shoes off before entering my house! I also ordered a mattress frame from Amazon and had it ready to go when my new mattress arrived. I could have used the old frame and box springs, but I wanted more storage so I bought a 16” high frame with a skirt that I also bought from Amazon. Now for the bed, I bought the Nectar Premier Copper 14” California King-Medium, which turned out to be PERFECT! A lot of people complain about their mattress having a smell when it is opened, but this Mattress doesn’t smell at all. This mattress is not too hard and it is not so soft that you sink in to it. It’s so comfortable that I want to lay down on it every time I walk by it. When I go to bed, I’m out in minutes and I sleep all night! I’m confident that if you buy this mattress, you’ll end up keeping it! The worst that can happen is you enjoy the mattress for up to 365 days and send it back if you are not satisfied. I hope this review helps you in making your decision on your mattress. I have now had my bed for over two months and I’m sleeping through the night! I would like to add a couple things that might help. I purchased a bed skirt,to hide the storage underneath the bed, but I found it difficult to stay in place so I purchased some Velcro strips to secure the skirt to bed frame and they worked perfectly. I also purchased some mattress gaskets to keep the mattress from sliding on the frame and they also worked perfectly. I bought both of these products on Amazon. I hope this helps. ... show more

Don’t you” love it” when AMAZON tells you to contact company and company tells you to contact AMAZON? . Only to discover Amazon and NECTAR will NOT honor the warranty! I bought FOUR Nectar Mattresses and the Copper 14” is a LOSER. I asked for an exchange …nothing! UGH

This bed was delivered 3 days ago and this is an image of it being open and inflating on Day 2. I just returned another mattress that I ordered from Nectar for the same issue, except it was the 12” Mattress. I have my space heater on in my room and have not laid on it or anything. I’m not sure why this is happening and it’s a bit frustrating. If it only expanded evenly then I wouldn’t have a problem but I can’t sleep on a bed with this much of a height difference right down the middle!!! I’m on day 3 waiting now for it to inflate properly but I don’t know what to do if it doesn’t fully expand. ... show more

One reason I bought the Nectar Premier Copper mattress was because it stated it had three different cooling technologies. After two days I found that the mattress was much hotter than our old Sealy spring mattress. Without any prompting from me, my wife commented that the mattress made her sleep hot. I went to the Nectar website and used the website's live chat to contact a company representative. I thought the company might have recommendations about a mattress cover or sheets that would help with our heat issue. When I mentioned to the rep that my wife and I both believed the mattress seemed hot, she asked where we purchased the mattress. When I responded I bought it from Amazon the rep stated I should contact Amazon. I let the rep know I was disappointed with her response and advised that I just wanted to see if the company could give recommendation about how to make the mattress cooler, you know different sheets or mattress pad, etc. The rep responded I could get a cooling mattress pad and/or lower my air conditioner. The cooling pad recommendation might have been helpful if she gave some specifics, but the lowering the air conditioner wasn't helpful at all. It was 56 degrees outside both nights we slept on the mattress. I'm not sure if I will return the mattress, it was heavy and difficult move around and we already disposed of our old mattress; however, I would not buy this brand again. Highly recommend to stay away from this manufacturer. The bed doesn't expand fully even after a full week. Amazon sent out a replacement but the replacement was defective as well. I ended getting a full refund BUT was stuck with having to pay for two mattress disposable fees.

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. I suspect some people are not following directions. This mattress does not sleep hot for a foam mattress. Make sure that you have the right foundation (I recommend slats that are spaced at 2.5 inches so that the mattress can breath) so that the mattress has air flow, and let the mattress fully expand. The mattress is about 6.5/10 on firmness, with excellent forming and bounce back after the initial 72 hours. If you sleep hot naturally, consider a hybrid mattress or get cooling sheets like rest duvet or Luxome sheets. Enjoy! ... show more

I tried the bed out for 9 days and just couldn't do it anymore. I sunk in the bed so much that I had trouble getting out of the bed even having to get a push from my boyfriend. My deciding factor was when I sunk and slid off the edge of the bed trying to put on my shoes and socks. I'm 5'10" and 245 lbs for anyone's reference. Had to return it. ... show more
