*5 month update* I really love this mattress. I meant to update the review sooner. Minimal to no back pain and sleeping better than I had before. *2 week update* I've been sleeping on the mattress over 2 weeks now. I am happily surprised to say the more I sleep on it, the more I like it. I have a pars fracture at my L5 which leaves me with back pain quite often. This mattress has allowed me a better sleep than my previous which was a serta sleeper pillow top. *update* Removed the waterproof mattress cover I had on the mattress and did not have issues with overheating and night sweats. This was great advice from a friend that I hadn't thought of. I've always used a waterproof mattress cover but the advice was it might be preventing the 'cooling' benefits. Waited 72 hours to use... Overheated from mattress which led to night sweats while AC set to 65 degrees. I'm so disappointed with the hybrid mattress. Sitting on the mattress feels like you sink in which made me worry it wouldn't provide enough support but once you lay down and weight is distributed, it's better. ... show more

I was having pain with our old bed but it was time to replace anyway this bed was a great replacement I love how it feels soft but supportive. My wife took some time to get used to it and says it is a bit firm for her.

I heard many great things about nectar. A friend of mine that recently had back surgery raved about his nectar matrrss. I purchased this King size copper hybrid premier and rec'vd the bed in Oct 2025. I suffer from neck, back and hip pain. Initially the bed was fine, not great. I figure the bed had yet to fully expand. After the 4th day of sleeping on it, I experience terrible hip pain. I tried sleeping on my side, using a bed pillow, putting a solid board underneath the mattress on the bed frame to ensure a stable foundation. Ive had this bed for 3 months and it just sags in my hip area or were there is more weight when laying on the bed. Im 5'2" and 125lbs and its made my pain so much worse. Wanted to share my experience because returning a bed is such a production :( ... show more

Mattress does require a few days to air, the semi -firm rating should really be just semi-medium, at least in my opinion. For an XL, it appears to be a little short. I am really interested in seeing how long it last on an adjustable bed. We have had two different brands that only lasted 12-14 months each. Both were of equal pricing and decent reviews. When we first got the bed it was in a vacuum packed small package, and the bed had to inflate, we wondered what we bought lol. Within 24 hours the bed was fully decompressed and hands-down is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in.
