I absolutely love this mattress. I have used a lesser quality mattress for several years, one that also comes boxed and opens up over time. It didn’t last long in terms of quality and was rather thin compared to a typical bed set up. I knew it was going to wear down quickly but it was in the budget. This sort of mattress really shows you what paying a bit more (double in this case) gets you in the long run. If you’re able to do so, I’d highly suggest investing in a good quality mattress. So far, my sleep quality is increasing, my back and muscles are less creaky and aching, and my sheets fit better. The mattress itself was very easy to set up. Came in a box, you unwrap the plastic and cut it loose. The mattress unfolds and you set it out for 24 hours or more. At first, it feels very squishy and lumpy, but don’t worry. By 24 hrs later, it is very firm and a tall mattress. I find that my sheets fit better on this that my other mattress where they were constantly coming off even though they were the right size for the fit. We currently have 3 memory foam mattresses for our various rooms and we've had positive experiences with all of them. Part of that, I believe, is making sure we order a minimum 10-inch mattresses. The Nectar Classic is listed as 12-inches. After 3 days of unpacking it comes in slightly under 12-inches, not a full 12-inches. It should expand a bit more after another week or so. Initially, I thought was sent the wrong size mattress and I was upset. But then as I unpacked and unrolled the sealed mattress, I discovered it was folded in half and then rolled up. When I unfolded and unrolled the mattress, I was able to see the entire size of queen mattress. As all of our foam mattresses, we've had to be patient. In the first day, it expands to around 90% of the final size. But that last 10% of expansion takes several days after. We've tried out the Nectar mattress in short periods of time. My fiance and I like it. Even our cats like it. This new mattress will becoming my new primary mattress. The foam mattress being replaced is 10 years old and starting to get slight imprints. Last thing, it used to be foam mattresses stank with chemicals when unpacking. But I noticed there was no chemical smell from the mattress even after unpacking and unsealing it. I got this mattress for our daybed in our living room and I couldn't be more impressed. It's the perfect firmness and gives the right amount of support. It was very easy to set up and was ready to sleep on in 24 hours. It's like sleeping on a cloud. I've never tried Nectar before but now I think I need to replace all the mattresses in the house so we can all get amazing sleep.
