  • COOL!!!!!!
The media could not be loaded. Looks Great, very articulated!

  • Great but pricey
It's a cool figure. Though I wish I had bought it when it first came out.

  • Awesome toy but worth the price?
They really need to start packing their collectibles better. For a collector this is unacceptable. Once you get your hands on the toy its real cool. But I have to agree the speaker system is a little weak. At a $20 cheaper price point I'd be a lot happier.

  • More of a collectible
Giftable for sure, collectible for sure, made of plastic, feels as if a kid plays with it, it will break easy. The speakers are so so. You can make out what it says but for the price I expected better quality sounds effects speaker(s)

  • ED-209.. IT'S..ok.
Figure is nicely sculpted, articulation is limited and fragile (broken piece right off the bat). Scale could be larger to take advantage of all the nice intricate surface detail. Sound is horrible. Garbled and fuzz. A waste of the feature.

  • I Liiiiiiike it!
Got my Ed209 in the mail today. I guess I was one of the lucky ones as it didn't arrive broken. Its a great looking figure...big and very detailed. It looks great sitting on my desk at work. As others have mentioned...although it has some nice weight to it, you definitely have to be carefully while handling it. This is definitely not a toy to be "played" with....put it on a shelf and leave it alone! I adjusted the legs once and really don't plan on doing it again. Regarding the tabs on the legs that others have had issues with...I knew these didn't move from watching a video review, but they sort of do look like they might move...so thats an easy mistake to make.. And I do suspect they could snap off fairly easily. Overall its a great figure, you just have to be very careful with it. I'm keeping it at work because if my 3 year old got a hold of Ed, he would be toast in no time. Also, the speaker for the sound effects is definitely weak...very tinny sounding and has absolutely zero bass. To be honest, even though I really like it...it should have be more like $45-$50....for $75 I expected it too feel a little sturdier. The detail is amazing and it looks very imposing....but if this thing fell of my desk there is no way it would survive without some damage. ... show more

  • Very detailed
Model is very detailed. It’s somewhat fragile. Not for kids. Just display. Got to be careful posing it to avoid breakage. I’m very happy with it

  • ED-209 is finally here, and he doesn't cost hundreds of dollars.
This is an excellent figure for the price. Sculpt, detailing and paintwork are all superb. I have only three minor nitpicks: 1) The blue hue should've been toned down, it's there in the original prop but it's very subtle. The paint job on this toy is outstanding, but it's just a bit too blue. It also should be matte finished. 2) As other reviewers have said, the plastic feels fragile and/or cheap. I agree with them. It was a harrowing experience to extend the legs, worrying about snapping those side tabs off (I watched a review by Optibotimus, so I already knew not to try to pull on them, but it was still a concern). You'll definitely need to be very gentle and careful with this piece, as it seems like it may very well end up in pieces. 3) The audio is weak. Not a dealbreaker, but rather weak. I'm happy to have gotten those audio clips at all. I wasn't expecting any. Having said that, I'm still very happy with this figure. It's the best representation of ED-209 at this scale and price. It probably should've retailed for $50 instead of $60 due to the fragile-feeling plastic, but if you get a good one it's absolutely beautiful and looks great next to NECA's Robocop. I waited years for quality figures of Robocop and ED-209, and now I finally have them. Thank you, NECA! ... show more
