Perfect for kids! No flaking or residue if touched! This product provides a medium, non stiff hold. Usually lasting for a few good hours.(which I've found hard to find in a product without the hair becoming stiff) My baby has beautiful fluffy curls. We've tried a variety of different products. Usually they've made his hair too stiff or the products just didn't hold the curl at all. On the other hand, this product gives the right amount of hold without making his hair stiff. These are some good products. I used the Detangler and the Hold Down Gelle. I also have the Curl Soufflé. I’ve been using for a few months now and I am very pleased with them. I’m pretty particular when it comes to hair products. Most that claim to moisturize don’t really moisturize and those that claim not to flake are the flakiest. Nothing really seems to last in moisture unless you are literally adding to hair daily. My son’s head sweats like crazy and will dry out quickly. So not really expecting a miracle. However, these products do what they say. Oh I also add hair oil to his hair. Which is not a product from FroBabies. Another thing I use the Gelle on my own hair on days that I don’t feel like using my own get hard gel and it works great. ... show more

Did ok for one day hold, not amazing. By afternoon hair was coming undone. Leaves flakes every time. Smells great though and isn’t too sticky.

I’ve been using this on my 4c super thick baby’s hair since she was about 9 months old. She’s now 16 months old and I still love it. It’s not thick and doesn’t flake so it provides a natural hold her her ponytails. I wish I would’ve stocked up since they’re sold out but if they ever restock I’m not making that mistake again.
