    • Very hard to open with strong magnets, but a great note card box

The color is as depicted and expected. The wood is bamboo and desirable. BUT, it is hard to open because the magnets are very strong! That's good if you were to hold it upside down or packed it upside down, but for everyday use, it needs a small latch or handle, etc. to assist in opening it. I tried putting a piece of paper between the two magnets on each side to see if it lightened up the magnetic pressure, but that did not work. I am going to try a few more options, then just put a tiny handle on the lid to give me something to hold on to rather than prying the top from the bottom. I have small, weak hands so that may be the reason too. The inside has three ight weight balsum type wood dividers that can be removed, but not relocated. This helps keep the note cards and dividers upright, rather than slanted if not stuffed full. Also the thin cardboard dividers are just okay sturdy paper. But I purchased separately color coded alphabet tabbed dividers as that is how I am going to organize my notecards. I recommend this product, just stating my experience with the strong magnets holding the top down on the base. ... show more

Love that this holds all my favorite recipes and fits in the space perfectly. Used to have 2 boxes and would have to stack them. Remembering where recipes were was another issue. Now it’s all in one.

Listen when I tell you if you make notecards you need this! I’m a new graduate nurse studying for my NCLAX and one thing i have been doing is making notecards. I wanted to by a box to hold them and i knew i was going to need a big one. This box is not only extreme appealing, but also very sturdy, heavy (as in it feels like real thick wood), super smooth and nice to the touch! If you are a person who makes hella notecard this is for you! Also the organization aspect of it is amazing. Each section has a wooden divider that can be taken out if needed and it also comes with unlabeled color coded dividers which I love! On top of all that it comes with some notecards, which I didn’t see anyone talk about but they are sooo nice. They are sturdier then normal notecards and just hold ink really well. I really wish I could by more of the notecards so that i don’t have to use the regular ones (i attached a pic, the top is their notecard the bottom is a regular). I’m also dyslexic and have awful handwriting, but organization and nice products really encourage me to take my time and make them look nice, so this box is a must for me. Altogether this box holds an enormous amount of notecards (which i need), organizes them extremely well, is pretty to look at and well made! Definitely buy this! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wanted an index card holder that we could keep out on our bookshelves that wouldn’t look tacky. We use it to sort our cards for our homeschool program All About Reading and All About Spelling. I just bought a second one for my other child’s cards!

I purchased this box for a Scripture Memory Box to hold my 3 x 5 index cards. As I write scriptures on the cards I am now able to organize them in the box. I am very pleased with the size of the box and the quality of it. This box will meet my needs for quite some time.

    • Holds a lot of 3×5 note cards.
Very sturdy 3 x 5 card note box. Big enough to hold alI the cards I use. Great for recipes, addresses or whatever. The only issue I have, hence the 4 stars, is that the cards and dividers must be almost perfectly aligned in order for the lid to close properly.
