The 5 foot length allows me just enough chain to lock the front and rear wheels to a bike rack. It doesn’t add a lot of weight which is nice. I also like that it uses a 5 digit code (that you create) rather than just a 4 digit code. And no key to lose. The security this chain provides is pretty basic. I’m sure bolt cutters could break the chain quickly. But for use in low-risk areas this this lock works just fine. ... show more

For the price, this is a nice study little chain. It keeps my bike safe for a little bit. I think it can be broken if somebody really wants the bike but overall, it is good enough.
