I've recently embarked on the journey of long-range precision shooting, and a decent shooting mat is a must-have unless you're down for getting dirt, dust, or other muck on your clothes when shooting prone. Since this was my first mat, I didn't have any what I was looking for - I picked primarily based on availability and the speed of shipping. I'm extremely happy with this mat: it's well-made, light, rolls up to a reasonable size that doesn't make it too much of a hassle to lug to the range, and comfortable! It's thick with decent padding that's a LOT more comfortable than the non-padded shooting mats I've used/tried in the past. The stitching is thick and feels sturdy. Even with the padding, it rolls up to less than a foot in diameter. There are a couple of areas described as "non-slip" around the elbows and knees that I'm pretty ambivalent about but are there, if that's something that you care about. The handle and shoulder strap are thick and feel durable, though time will tell. In my case, I just use a strap on my rifle bag to attach it to, so the shoulder strap doesn't get much use. The mat wipes fairly clean; I suppose you could just hose it down if it got really dirty, though the material isn't water proof, so do so at your own risk. I haven't had any trouble getting it reasonably clean after a day of shooting, though. For $25, I'm totally happy with the purchase and don't feel the need to be on the lookout for an upgrade. I'll update this if I end up having any issues with durability, but I expect this to last quite a while based on what feels like very sturdy construction. Simple and it works. It’s cheap with a little padding. If you are comparing to a 150 dollar mat then you are stupid. If your gonna say it needs more padding then buy a more expensive product. I use it and enjoy it. If I tear it up in a few years I’ll buy another one. 🤷♂️

This pad is a fantastic value. We've had it out in rocky terrain, desert sand, over thick brush, hot and cold conditions, and more. It is holding up well, and offers just the right amount of protection. Highly recommended.
