I have received compliments for this set. I also own a greater-than-average number of homemade quilts to compare it to. It has a good weight to it, while simultaneously being very thin. I live in a hot and humid area, so sometimes a comforter on the bed is just too much. This bedding set is perfect. It's thin, with a little weight to it, warm when it gets cool but not so warm that the bed becomes a sauna. I like the color patterns a lot (im partial to blue) and it's quite large. Sometimes you buy a comforter set and the comforter barely fits on the queen-sized bed. You tuck and tuck and it keeps pulling out because it's just not long enough to stay tucked in while still reaching your chin. God forbid you're one of those people who pulls blankets completely over your head! This bedspread is perfect if you are, though. Fully tucked in, it still reaches a good 6 inches below where my mental minimum would have it fall. It's soft and comfortable and not bulky, which is absolutely a good thing. ... show more

This quilted bedspread is really nice and made well. It is light weight and soft. This bedspread reminds me of my grandmother, who had made me a patchwork quilted bedspread when I was a kid. I love that it washes well. Would recommend this
