However, it’s very heavy—almost 60lbs—making it hard for my wife to lift onto the car by herself. Also, you need to be cautious about the battery level. I assembled the bike within the 30-day refund period. All seemed ok. Unfortunately, I tried to ride it after the refund period. When I started riding it the handlebars loosened. Vendor didn’t respond until I complained directly with Amazon. Once vendor responded we have been in touch, but communication is slow because of time difference and language miscommunication. It can take 2-3 emails. Vendor finally sent replacement part, but sent the wrong part. It took two emails to explain the problem. I purchased this on sale for $360 as it seemed to be about the highest quality Ebike in that price range. I was concerned about the somewhat odd look, which turned out to be a real problem because of my height. I am maybe 5'11" with shoes on, but even with the seat as high as it would go, it felt too low and my knees were hitting the handlebars. Then on about my 3rd short ride the left pedal came completely loose and the bolt holding the whole pedal arm was totally stripped, resulting in the whole pedal falling off while crossing a street. Other than those two major issues, everything else seemed to work reasonably well, although it did seem like there were multiple power modes and it was not clear or intuitive on how to switch between them even after reading the manual, and the digital display was not very clear to understand or bright enough to read in sunlight. ... show more
