White Willow Bark is the outer shell of the Willow tree and has been used for centuries. I don't use any pain reliever often, but when I do, I like to use the White Willow Bark. It has similar healing properties as Aspirin, but for me, it doesn't cause me any stomach problems. I have digestive problems so I am very careful about what I take. White Willow Bark does take longer to start working, but the effect lasts longer for me than aspirin. This also doesn't keep me awake at night like aspirin used to do to me. I can take it and still sleep. Make sure you drink plenty of water when you take it. Just like any other medication. Some of the things I use it for are Headache Inflamation Sore Muscles Backache Colds and flu (helps when I am running a fever) It can be used for other aches and pains... Just like aspirin is used. I have been taking white willow bark for over 8 years now. I don't miss aspirin or any other pain reliever. This is all I use. ... show more

Okay item. Didn't notice much difference from Tylenol as far as pain control. But also, Didn't take for long time, although it was suggested to take daily. So, don't judge from my usage.

I was very skeptical, but within 20 minutes of taking the prescribed dosage the pain was gone. I broke 6 ribs and had been taking Ibuprofen but it really bothers my stomach. I was glad the willow bark is so effective, with no side effects.

I was very skeptical I suffer both Psoriatic Arthritis and Spinal Stenosis. I also have DJD, and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. I don’t take narcotics. Tylenol causes liver damage with long term use and my use of NSAIDS has caused stomach damage. None of those medications worked well anyway. I bought the Willow Bark Capsules thinking it would be a waste of money but they were pretty inexpensive so I figured I might as well give it a try. Well This stuff actually does work. I guess the Ancient Native People all over the world who use the Bark of whichever Willow Tree was native to their land really knew what they were doing! Now I’m not saying you’re gonna get the same relief as you would from Morphine or Novacaine, but imagine a combination of Motrin and Tylenol or Aleeve all in 1 capsule WITHOUT the same side effects as the synthetic aspirin we take nowadays. ... show more

I took two of these willow bark capsules twice daily with food for ten days. I noticed zero change in the pain in my arthritic elbow and shoulder. This particular brand and bottle is a great price and I did not have any side effects whatsoever. So those are positives. It just isn’t effective for pain management for me. It may work for others. I am going to try a different product that specifically says “white willow” and is standardized for its salicin content. There sure is a lot of research and data out there on reputable sites that says white willow bark can be effective for pain management so I am hopeful I will find the right product as I’d like to get away from mainstream OTC pain killers. ... show more
