My sister recently moved in with her blind, mutant hillbilly cat, who pees all over my house several times a day. It's easy enough to get the smell out of the carpet and off of the linoleum -once I'm done dodging the puddles like landmines just to get to the coffee pot every morning- but this hills have eyes lookin cat got stuck in my bedroom one day and peed multiple times on the hardwood floor in there. I tried all kinds of methods to get rid of her rancid smell, but it seeped into the floor and nothing was doing the trick. I had a room that smelled like a port-a-john for 3 weeks. I used this spray ONCE and the smell was gone after 5 minutes, much to my relief. I can't tell you how many times I shoved essential oils up my nose just to blot out the smell so I could sleep. This thing saved my sanity, and probably the slack jawed idiot cat's life as well. (the smell of the spray is a little weird but it clears quickly and is a thousand percent better than the smell of cat pee) -end note: I would like to clarify for the record that it was the cat peeing all over, not my sister. ... show more

$9 for scented water? Ingredients: water, scent, and "cleaning agents". Need to expand on ingredients so consumers know what they're buying.

Product works sometimes but not really cost effective when you have a dog who goes or sneak marks on occasion. Found that my dog would sometimes return to the site of the accident and go again.This might have been my fault- maybe I needed to use more but I couldn’t keep buying this stuff. So began to experiment with home remedies but not eliminated the odor or removed the dark stain or stopped my dog from sneaking and going again on this or that spot. Then my 84 year old aunt told me what to do and I thought it was nuts. She told me to mop with bleach water and it worked! I have real hard wood floors from a 1930’s home and was afraid it would damage and bleach my floors- none of which my noticed. What I do I fill a large dish soap detergent bottle with about 1/8 cup of bleach and the rest water. I then squirt on the area and in about 30 seconds it begins to foam! I then mop it up and then mop with plain water then a really dry mop to get up any moisture- might not work on other floors or might damage but it works for me. Now if I smell something and wonder where my dog went I squirt this bleach water where I think he went and if it foams I know! No more nasty pee or smells in my floor. ... show more

Finally, a Nature's Miracle product that works on hard floors and doesn't leave a film behind! We all know, dogs have accidents, it happens, and it sucks. We have mostly hard floors in our house and we normally used regular Nature's Miracle when an accident happened, just to help kill any of the enzymes that might still be left behind. Sadly that also left a film, so this product fixes that issue! We have Pergo Flooring, and Ceramic Tile flooring and this product works great on both.     • Perfect for Puppy Accidents!

We recently got a new puppy that we’re still in the middle of housetraining. So basically we’ve been tackling all sorts of accidents in the house. I read before that you need to use an enzymatic cleaner otherwise they’ll keep going in the same spot so I bought this cleaning solution. We saw that this Nature’s Miracle product is for hard floors (which we have) so we decided to go for it. This is what I usually do: I spray a few squirts of the cleaner onto the area and wipe it up with damp mop (I used a towel before but now I use the Turbo Mop- it makes things easier since I don’t have to bend over). Depending on the accident, sometimes I end up having to spray more of the cleaner onto the floor. When I’m done with the cleaner…I rinse the mop with water and go over the area again a few times. That does the trick most of the time. It cleans up the mess, whatever it is, and removes all the smells. I also like the fact that it shines up the floors a bit. I know that its formulated for hard floors but I’ve even had success using it on my rugs (though it was just a tiny spot). I’m not sure if its because of the enzymes but my puppy hasn’t returned to do his business at any of the same spots so I suppose it works well. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fragrance. It doesn’t smell very good…its strong and pungent, almost to the point where it burns your nose. Maybe that’s why it works so well? I would recommend that you stay as far as possible from the area once you’ve applied it to the floor (thats one of the reasons why I use it with a mop). ... show more

This may not seem like much in this picture, but let me just say that prior to using this amazing stuff, that stain was BLACK. it was atleast a year old of urine soaked newspaper onto my wood floor. I had almost given up complete hope that I would ever be able to hide the stain even with refinishing. I’m happy to say, I feel like I will be able to. I will revisit this review later. I have also started, (after this pic was taken) using the Nature Miracle Set In Stain Destroyer for cats, as well as some hydrogen peroxide for the really dark areas. I had a cat who had some issues getting in his litter box at his end of life and it made the area the box was in, including the room, smell horrific. After he passed on, I knew I had to do something about the smell. A friend recommended this product and I bought it immediately, desperate for relief. It came packaged appropriately and quickly. I immediately sprayed the area and let it sit for a while. The spray smells similar to cat urine. It was overwhelming. I left a fan on it and came back a few hours later and... NO smell. The smell is entirely gone. Thanks so much for making a product that is effective! I've tried several sprays, vinegar, bleach cleaning products and nothing compares to this.
