This arrived well packaged and damage free (thankfully). For flat pack furniture this was pretty easy to build - about 2 hours. The finished product is nice looking, matches picture, and looks great in our kitchen/entry way for our coat storage

    • inconsistent quality
Ordered 2. First one arrived with 8 different damage points, of which I took pictures but no point in wasting time to upload; mostly deep scratches and dents. The box had visible but mild damage. Of course the defects aren't visible until you unpack the extremely heavy box, so by the time you sort out each piece and find each defect, it's not worth repacking and sending back. I was able to use this first piece in a nook surrounded by walls so damage isn't too too visible. I have sourced flat packed furniture from Chinese fa stories and have worked with quality teams in those factories so I actually do understand the challenges of flat packed furniture. This one ought to be packed in 2 boxes, not one, and the cushioning needs upgrading. Boxes need exterior strapping too. Most of the defects, not all but most, are from the factory, not shipping damage. Poor quality control. This first piece was missing a group of holes that should have been predrilled but were missed-we had to drill them ourselves. Second unit was a different experience. No defects, no damage. Assembly is pretty taxing. I did it myself and it took 2 of us only for the doors. There is plenty of clearly marked hardware, and there is extra hardware. for me, the directions were pretty clear:A-. Could be improved but pretty good. Once assembled, these units are basically what you pay for-good enough for the price. I wouldn't use them as primary furniture, but as an "extra space" thing, they're pretty good and pretty attractive-the real rattan is nicely done. Leg base is sturdy. ... show more

These were pretty easy to put together with 2 people. I really like how they look once we finish it. Because the armoire is tall and large, with a light wood color design, natural rattan and very powerful functions, it fully meets my clothing storage needs. The adjustable board can be placed according to different needs, so it is really suitable for placing anywhere in the home, laundry room, kitchen, or even becoming a food storage cabinet, which is very practical. I have always wanted to buy an armoire with a large capacity that also allows me to hang a lot of clothes. When I saw this rattan armoire, I fell in love with it at first sight! A few days after placing the order, we received a very large package, It took 2 of us one and a half hours to assemble it, excellent step-by-step detailed instructions to solve many installation problems, and the most important thing is patience! It's bigger and stronger than I expected, and very practical! The two poles included can be fixed on the wall, so I can hang more clothes, and the movable wooden boards can accommodate my storage of clothes of different lengths. The door opens smoothly, no noise, and the steel stand is very strong. It's really good value for money. It offers so much extra storage space I need in my bedroom! Looks stylish and NOT cheap!
