Well based on the smell alone, I’m confident this oil is PACKED with fishy goodness 🤢 I feed my two prescription dry food as their main, but for breakfast they also get a little wet plate of extra nourishing things. I recently added in this oil after finding a small patch of fur missing between one of their shoulders, and deducing it probably wasn’t a vet worthy problem this time (more like that clump of hair was left stuck in his sister’s teeth after a particularly good wrestle) but that perhaps his skin and coat needed a little extra boost. I add one quick pump to their daily wet plate and mix it in, (nearly puking every time🐟) and they both absolutely adore it. The effects took perhaps a week to show, but 3 weeks later they’re both extra velvety and glossy and silky. That missing spot of fur is long gone, it’s filled in with lush lovely softness. The same cat has the itchy, twitchy back that fatty cats can have trouble with - I’ve noticed that that’s not been bothering him anywhere near as much. The packaging is nice. The pump works well, there’s been no leakages or drips and you don’t get any on your hands. One pump comes out the same each time. It does not smell just sitting there on the shelf, only in the short time between pumping it onto the plate and it being inhaled. ... show more

I lovee the metal packaging mine came with no damages to the bottle & no leaks!! my pup seemed to have no issues eating it over dry kibble. I purchased this because of her dry skin. This is the first week trying it so obviously it’s going to take some time to start showing results. The pump will not pop up if you are just spinning it to the left… it will spin forever. unscrew the pump out of the container, grab a paper towel and firmly grab the thicker part of the pump that would go inside the container THEN turn the nob to the open position. your pump will be fully functioning. don’t let the other reviews abt the pump not working scare you away from trying a good product! ... show more

Nozzle was pressed down with tape for shipment, but somehow the oil leaked during shipment into the box also getting on other items in box. Easy to wash away with soap but it leaves a smell. Also uncertain how much leaked out and was wasted.

This product is incredible. My dog had skin problems for years that were completely cleared after just adding this to his food! However, The plastic bottle this used to come in was always great. Now it comes in a metal can that leaks and the pumps are always broken so you have to twist off the top to access oil and product is always left in the container. ... show more

Great product! My cat gets dry skin in the winter, and our vet recommended putting omega-3 oils over her dry food. Have used this for about 6 weeks now, and it has definitely helped her skin & coat. Just use one pump instead of two (the package recommends 2 pumps of oil for every 20 lbs of body weight). As a bonus, it comes in a clean, easy-to-use dispenser. Overall, the oil worked very well for my dachshund pup. He nibbles his skin a lot less since the addition of the oil supplement and doesn’t seem to be itchy! With that being said, there are definitely some flaws with the pump (other reviews stated as well) and my puppy eventually stopped liking and eating his food whenever I added the oil about 2 weeks in. I was able to get the pump to work after lots of time and effort, with advice of other reviews that state to remove the pump, hold the inside with a paper towel, and pull up while twisting. Unfortunately I won’t be buying again, but I do think this product can work well, especially to support skin health, for the right dog. ... show more
