My 3 month old Aussiepoodle, had a bad cough when we got her n it was worse at night once she went to bed. After two visits to the vet n two different sets of antibiotics and cough pills ( plus X-rays both times) it got a little bit better but did not go away so I bought this and she loves it and it really does help and her cough is getting less and less and less I would highly recommend this. I’m so glad I found it and so is she I’m sure. She thinks it’s a treat n licks it right off the dropper which I clean after each use. I like it cause it’s all natural. I did not want to keep giving her more antibiotics and more drugs it just didn’t seem to me that was healthy for her.     • Alleviates cough from partially collapsed trachea
First and foremost, I took my dog to the vet after she experienced severe hacking, coughing, and wheezing. I thought it could be related to her heart murmur, after x-rays and review by cardiologist. Vet determined the issue was a redundant tracheal membrane. Not her heart. PLEASE be sure of what the issue is before trying to treat it at home. The cough meds the Vet prescribed did not work. Within one week of giving this to my Pomeranian, there was a vast improvement. She rarely if ever hacks when I’m consistent. If I forget a couple of days, I can tell because she’ll start the hacking/coughing again. If I could give 10 stars I would. My dog hates medicine, but with the dropper I’m able to stick in her mouth and dispense easily. A lot easier than any pill or chew. Again, please be sure of what the condition is. Heart murmurs, cardiac arrest, collapsed trachea can all have similar effects in regards to coughing but they require very different, and potentially life-saving, treatment. ... show more

It seems the formula has changed. This time the liquid was a lot darker. My dog would normally love taking it now not so much. Why did you change it?

The item for cough is spoiled it is gooey and slimy dark in color and smell like it has gone rancid. I would like a refund. I will not jeapodize my dog by using this bottle. I had to order another and the new one was good almost clear in color, didn't smell and was not thick and slimy

Hello, I have a dog that has collapse trachea and I found this product not to work at all, but your dog may be different. I wish you lots of luck. It is so sad to see them go through this.

    • Amazing stuff!
I bought this stuff on a hope and a prayer. We rescued our baby almost two years ago. When we got her she already had a collapsed trachea but it wasn’t too bad. Last week she was having a really bad time with this allergy season. She couldn’t eat or drink without choking. I didn’t want the vet to put her on meds that were also going to make her feel miserable. We thought we were going to have to put her down. After reading the reviews I thought it couldn’t hurt to try and on the plus side it would be here by morning. The first day I gave it to her she was finally able to get up and start eating and drinking her water, so I was hopeful. By Saturday (the fourth day) she was doing amazing and back to herself. Today is Sunday and she is better than when we first got her. I am so grateful for this product. Be patient it doesn’t work completely overnight but you will see a difference. My Havachon, will soon be 18. she developed a cough and had trouble sleeping and eating. I gave her some honey and herbal tea, researched and ordered this in hope. I just ordered my third bottle, she sleeps and breathes so much easier with is and is eating better. Thank you so much for your research and this wonderful preparation. I put it in my palm and she laps it right up! I really thought I was going to lose her...but she is doing well and just snores now...old age comes to all of us. I just want to keep her comfortable. She sleeps more, but still plays like a puppy.
