Native has branded themselves as being a clean, transparent company that you can feel good about using on your body. They are upfront about ingredients, which is nice. EWG gives this bodywash a 4 rating, which isn’t awful. Their biggest reasons for giving it a 4 weren’t a concern for us. I was tired of hunting around for a good body wash for a decent price for my husband to use and this one seems fine. The fragrance is pretty strong and doesn’t seem very natural but it’s not a bad scent. Wish it was just a little bit cleaner and more natural, but that could be asking too much. ... show more

I actually read a scientific paper that said this body wash (compared to a number of others) kept the mosquitos away. I gave it a try as I am a magnet for them. Worst season we've had for the little insects, and darned if it didn't work. I am not a big fan of coconut slathered all over me, but the scent is very light, and my very sensitive skin liked it as well. I have also tried the lotion but this seems to do the trick well enough in the shower. As a biomedical scientist, I was skeptical. But it worked. My go-to in the TX summer from now on. I'm picky with scents and I love this so much. Along with the Sea salt & Cedar and Powder & Cotton scents. The Lilac is very feminine, lasts, and is not a heavy like a rose scent. Very nice
