  • Every home needs a Road Atlas
What a joy it is to scan the whole state or even the country to plan any road trip I want. So much easier teaching my daughter how to plan her road trips using an illustrative and informative atlas like this instead of just relying on some voice to tell her point-by-point where to go.

  • Nice detailed Atlas
Purchased as a gift. He was happy with the size, coated cover, and detailing as he travels a lot and GPS is not always available or accurate.

  • Great for High Level Planning Or Backup
My kids laughed when I said I was ordering a paper nap, but it’s just so much more than that. I really like how this is spiral bound and has a splash resistant cover on the front and back; but let’s talk about it’s functionality. The atlas is organized well, and color coded to help quickly navigate the contents. It does require a magnifying glass for most people over 40, but is still large enough to plan a route or see an alternative path is you’re looking to wander. Sure it’s paper and Google can get you someplace faster, but I really enjoy just looking this over and discovering new destinations and routes for myself. Is it perfect, of course not, I did find a third Nogales where Naco should be, but I have no doubt that with this atlas in my car, I wouldn’t be lost for long. ... show more

  • Comparison Review
I bought this along with the 100th anniversary edition to compare the two. The National Park edition is thinner because it has less detail. One benefit is that you can see the whole state on the National Park version where the 100th Anniversary edition is broken up into sections. The fact that it’s broken up on pages makes full state navigation tougher but its much easier on the eyes with more detail as well. ... show more

  • It's beautiful.
I'm planning a trip up the California coast in September, and the CA map is perfect to find those little cities along the way. It's a beautiful book. I will cherish it for years.

  • This atlas is perfect
I love the size of this atlas. It isn't too small or too big. It will come in handy when we take trips in our RV. I am old school and still like to use a map in addition to GPS since with GPS you can't and shouldn't always trust the route it is going to take you on, thus, this atlas. I highly recommend this atlas for anyone that does any traveling at all. ... show more
