I was excited to receive my Nathan James Viktor set and couldn’t wait to unbox it. After putting it together (which was easy, with all the pieces being available) I noticed slight imperfections to the table top. I was disappointed because the table looked perfect except for the slight piling of the tabletop. I immediately contacted the company (not Amazon) and the service rep was so helpful and polite. My problem was not only resolved easily/speedy but I was allowed to keep my old set for extra pieces. So there was no hassle of re-shipping to do and my second set was delivered fast. The company also sent me a thank you with a box of chocolates, hands down the best customer service that I have ever experienced. The set itself adds a sense of luxury to my small living room and goes well with my velvet, blue, sofa. The cushioned bar stool are easy on the lower back and hips and the fabric keeps you cool. The table’s legs are sturdy which lets me know this table will last if cared for properly. I’d recommend this set to anyone who has a small space but still desire an eloquent looks without breaking the bank or crowding the room. ... show more

This is an attractive table with some flaws. It is not heavily trafficked or used on a regular basis so I can’t say how it will stand up with time, it does have a little wobble after assembly. The assembly of the product wasn’t difficult and are marked with letters, but I found some of the bolts weren’t consistent when it’s being lined up. You could have two letter ‘A’ legs for the table, but one wouldn’t work whereas the other would. When it came to using the screws you will want a power tool. Careful with tools as the quality of the product doesn’t seem the best and seems like it could split easily. Great for small places and low traffic use, i wouldn’t recommend if you want something to use daily as I don’t think it will last over time as it already has stability issues. ... show more

I was looking for something cheap and compact for my TV area in my basement. Although, I will say the quality of the wood/counter top are not very high end, but it's nice looking, sturdy and didn't cost me a lot of cash. I will have to see how it holds up, but I give it 5 stars.

We ordered this table for a small dining space and have been very pleased with it! The top is not real marble - but based on the price, I feel like that's a given. However, it does perfectly match our real marble island and the finish doesn't look cheap! My only complaint is that the stools are a bit wobbly. We've tightened the screws several times but it still seems like they aren't as strong as I'd like them to be. We use this table nightly and it wipes clean, the fabric on the stools has held up, as has the finish on the table. Not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed when I unboxed this. The tabletop surface wasn’t even painted, instead being a glossy vinyl/laminate layer of stick on material that isn’t super durable either. The table LOOKS great, especially from a distance, but the marble top print they used is very pixelated and cheapens the overall look. The seating is pretty uncomfortable. I really wish they offered an option with a backrest but it is nice that the stools fit completely under the table. 4 however (if you buy 2 more) will not fit underneath. I don’t regret the purchase as it fits perfectly in the space I bought it for and it looks nice, but I also don’t recommend it. ... show more

There's a similar set to this at Ashley Furniture. Do not be deceived. The one at the local Ashley store is very well made, sturdy and sits level and even. This is really low quality at basically the same price. All the legs on the table and the stools were misaligned. The table sat at an angle and was extremely wobbly. The chairs were highly unstable and the legs and cross beams did not fit properly at all. Very loose fitting. It was very frustrating trying to fit it all back into the box the way it came, but after an hour of sweating it I managed to get everything in place and send it back.
