I do not have any current complaints from this barstool. They are indeed counter height, which I needed, as most other barstools were too tall for my counter. They look sleek, and are compact enough to tuck under my 6" overhand on kitchen island. I struggled to find barstools that would fit my apartment space due to the hallway being narrow, but these were definitely worth the research. Seats are actually very comfortable and curved for extra comfort. Assembly was easy, and even though it was slightly annoying removing all the padding/tape/packaging prior to assemble, I can appreciate they take the effort to properly pack all the pieces to ensure they do not get damaged in shipping. The color of the seats was almost a perfect match to my leather chair I have in the living room, also with black metal accents. I did also order additional end caps for the feet of the stools to eliminate any floor scratches. They may not have been needed but I am satisfied with both purchases. Highly recommend. ... show more

As part of a recent kitchen remodel, we added a peninsula and needed some stools. After looking at many designs and reviews, we settled on this stool. The stools came well packaged with foam around all of the painted parts. Assembly was fairly easy and took about 15-20 minutes per stool. Most of this time was spent unwrapping all of the parts. Once assembled the stools felt sturdy. The tips of the legs are very small and have hard plastic sliders on them. This would be great on tile, but for a hardwood floor like ours, they dig in and scratch. After trying stick on felt pads which kept falling off, I found some slip on felt feet that work perfectly on wood floors. We've had the stools for about 2 months and they hold up well. The color of the top cloth pad is lighter than seen in the pictures, but it still fit our decor just fine. We did buy elastic slip covers for a couple of the stools that our toddler uses to protect the top cloth pad from spaghetti sauce covered hands. ... show more

It’s a great stool. I purchased one initially to make sure it fit and I liked the stability so I purchased another one. Unfortunately I received one that was already used. I’m going to hope all the screws are there and that it wasn’t returned due to something structural being wrong. The damage that was done is on the bottom so I hope it won’t be seen. But disappointed to not get one brand new seeing as how I paid for a brand new one. I suppose if I was that upset I’d return it and reorder but I hate the process of returns so I’ll see how this works out. ... show more
