I have tried multiple pillows over the past 5 years or so to find a comfortable one. Had been using a down alternative one for several years before this one. Liked it well at first but eventually the center squished down too much and would not re fluff there. Had tried other memory foam pillows in the past, but did not like how the solid ones could not be adjusted. This pillow makes me think of the "my pillow type" with pieces of memory foam inside. I like the quilted cover on this so that one does not feel the pieces inside. I really like how it is made to take out stuffing to get a good fit for each person. I ended up taking out about 1/2 of the stuffing to get the best pillow size and feel for me. Had enough left to make up a pillow for my husband also, by putting it into a new pillow cover. I like how I can squish it down where my ear is when on my side, so that too much pressure is not on my ear. Can push around on it to reshape stuffing, and even reach my hand inside to occasional readjust stuffing as I like, with the thinner pillow as I like it. This is the best of the shredded foam pillows I've tried. The foam is in small pieces with fiberfill added, so there isn't a tendency to clump or be bumpy. A zipper on the inner case makes it easy to remove or add the foam as you adjust the pillow. My only complaint was the inner case zipper kept getting stuck on the net fabric lining. I solved that by hand stitching the lining so it wouldn't get in the way. Nice if the manufacturer did that first. ... show more

I’m a picky pillow person. I find one I like and keep it forever. I never like one on the first night!! Until I purchased this pillow. It’s wonderful. It’s supporting but not hard. It has enough weight that it doesn’t slide out from under your head even with a slick pillowcase on it. But it’s not too heavy. It doesn’t get hot but it’s not cold like some pillows I have tried. It keeps its shape but you can adjust if you need more in one area. I can’t say enough good things about this pillow. I laugh and say I tell it every morning that I can’t wait to get back to it that night. I saw where some reviews complain about the size of the pillow. My pillow is the exact size it’s supposed to be. I decided to try this one due to its great reviews and I am so glad I did. I have found the love of my life in the pillow department. 😍😍 ... show more

I removed about a third of the filling from this pillow. I like a flatter pillow as I'm a side sleeper wearing a CPAP mask. Unfortunately, the remaining fill forms around my head and pushes my mask off of my head and creates a lot of air leakage. However, I took the extra fill from this pillow and added it to the old travel/camp pillow I had been using and that pillow is perfect for my needs. I think this would be a great pillow for most normal uses. It just didn't work for me. The fill worked great to augment my existing pillow and I'm considering just swapping out the fill from my old pillow and replacing it with the fill from this pillow ... show more

I've been sleeping much better since I bought this pillow. I loved it so much I bought another one to lean against while reclining. It comes densely packed and even though I had to remove half the stuffing for a flatter pillow due to neck issues, I barely have to readjust it at night. The other one I kept pretty full and that one stays the same shape and is very supportive for my back. I think the reason is because along with the memory foam shreds there are strands of fluff that hold it all together. I ended up removing the filling of a similar travel pillow and replacing it with the filling of these pillows and now that stays in the same shape all night, too. The quality of the pillowcasing is very high. The zippers are solid and the opening to the stuffing is just large enough to pull some out without making a mess. (The strands of fluff help keep it together.) There is even extra material around the inside of the opening to keep it all in. When it first arrived I followed the instructions for putting it in the dryer and it fluffed up immediately. There was a chemical odor at first, but I barely noticed it and it dissipated within a few days. I would definitely recommend this pillow. ... show more

I had my best night's sleep in months using this pillow for the first last night. It pumps up very thick in the dryer, but my head sank in to a perfect level for a side-sleeper. It loses a star because it does have the chemical smell that is typical for a new memory foam product. Also, I went to look up guidance for washing it and couldn't find the company! (Care tag is INSIDE the pillow, and FYI, only the outer case is machine washable, not the filling, so it is harder to get rid of that smell!) I tried nappler.com, like they suggest for their "100 day guarantee", and only found GoDaddy trying to sell me the domain! I can't find their "store" here on Amazon, either. So don't plan on any type of customer support and make sure you execute a return within Amazon policy and handling. ... show more

This pillow is so very comfy once you customize it! (I found the perfect loft after taking out a full included bags' worth of fill made the perfect height for my sleeping needs.) It is like sleeping on a soft, yet supportive cloud. I only took off a star because the cover of the pillow causes it to sleep very warmly. You won't find that nice, cool spot on your pillowcase like on more traditional pillows. I'm going to see if a cotton pillow cover between it and my case will help.
