Crafted of poplar solids and engineered woods in a white painted finish with durable marble finished quartz stone top. The 4 upper drawers all feature felt bottoms for delicate items, and 6 larger drawers for general storage, all with brushed nickel drawer pulls. The back of the unit features 2 open storage areas that are 12” deep, with 3 fully adjustable and removable shelves in each, which is ideal for shoes or just general storage. The quartz top provides a no mar top that is ideal for use when packing suitcases for trips, or just general use. These Island are not restrict for closet use only, as they are ideal for craft rooms, as a great work center, or for kitchen use as well. Finish and measurements may vary slightly. Assembly required. The media could not be loaded. Exactly like the picture and true dimensions. The marble top gives it a clean sleek look. It's very heavy and took my husband about 5hrs to assemble. I switched out the knobs to black and gold ones. Great value for the product. Other stores wanted a few hundred more.

I wanted an island for my large walk-in closet. I looked everywhere and couldn't find what I needed until I found this. I read reviews and was a little apprehensive but decided to proceed and I'm so glad I did. It was delivered in 3 heavy boxes so you will need a strong person to help. I unboxed everything in the middle of my living room floor and followed the instructions step by step. Depending on the size of your doorway, you will probably need to do some of the assembly of the larger parts in the room that it will live in. It does take several hours to put it together-it took me about 5-6 hrs. Again, you will need 2 people for part of it as you have to put it together upside down and then turn it right side up and it also takes 2 people to put the marble top on. Take your time and screw each screw a little at a time taking turns and you'll be less likely to cause wood to split. I only had one piece to crack slightly-no big deal. I was missing 3 short wood screws (I found some in our extra hardware box), but other than that all parts were here. I am so pleased!! It looks great, the color is white, not a brilliant white but white none the less. The marble top is gorgeous. The storage in it is awesome. I am very happy!! ... show more

I purchased this island to complete a walk-in closet for my wife. It comes in three large boxes and is well packed. The drawer glides are already attached to the drawers and the island. It took me about one or two hours to unpack and assemble the unit. The island is cream colored, not white. The top of the island is marble and looks expensive. This island was half the price of the other islands I was looking at. A small complaint would be the dresser glides are plastic. The drawers are all functional, but do not have the feel of expensive furniture. I would definitely recommend this island to a friend (as long as they would not ask me to help them assemble it). ... show more

    • You better have some cabinet making skills if you attempt this. Poor quality control, Thin drawers.

Good news, I finally got it together after 3 days, and it's good looking. However, as I assembled it, the holes for the screws for the drawers were consistently in the wrong place, or were not drilled deep enough. I had to drill new holes in the right places and also drill the pilot holes deeper, but the thin drawer material split many times and I had to glue them back together. Secondly, the instructions are wrong and I can't tell you how many times I assembled according to the instructions and then had to take them apart and reassemble them correctly. I have great cabinet making skills, but this was the most difficult assembly job I've ever done. Lastly, the outside of the cabinet is nice, thick wood, however, the drawers are the cheapest and thinnest plywood I've ever worked with. Screws split so many pieces, even after drilling. For additional tools, add power drill, drill bits, wood glue, framing square and clamps. This job is not for someone doing a first time assembly. If this thing didn't take me 3 days and weighing a few hundred pounds, I probably would have sent it back. However, now that it's assembled properly, it does look good in the closet. ... show more

LOVE this closet island! It looks amazing in my WIC. If you have the space for an island in your closet, I highly recommend getting it!! Its super heavy as the top is marble. It took my hubby about 2 hrs or less to assemble. One of the drawer parts they sent was the wrong part and when we contacted the company, they quickly responded and mailed us the correct piece. Had they originally included all the correct parts I would have given it 5 stars. That being said, this island is still one of my favorite things I've purchased for my new home♥️♥️♥️ ... show more

    • Overall nice product - looks good - assembly is ok

End result looks good - the outer structure took about 3 hours to assemble. I took my time after reading all the reviews. The hardest assembly part are the drawers (took another 3 hours) . You really have to play around assembling each one to make sure it fits into the drawer slots and closes properly. I ended up getting most of them to close perfectly, but a couple require you to lift up a little as you shut the drawer - but overall my wife is happy so it is good. They also didn't send enough machine screws for the knobs, so asked for replacements to be sent. Directions included were fine, just take your time and it will look good. I needed a helping hand for only about 10 minutes - once to flip unit over halfway through assembly and then a second time to lift island top onto frame. ... show more

I have a great closet but it did not have any drawer / storage space. I purchased this one, as a last resort because the others were all out of stock. I like it! It's was the perfect color, not a bright white but off white and the lots of storage room and drawers. The drawers were a little flimsy but perfect for storing light clothes like undergarments.
